People can do the same kind of things for entirely different purposes - this, of course, is one of those situations.

Yes, Trump went on about the 2016 election being stolen from him, considering he was certain he was going to lose the election.

When he won, it was "fair and square."

Four years later, when Trump legitimately lost the election, he not only claimed *without evidence), the election was rigged, but tried to cause an insurrection in January, shortly before Biden was sworn in as President.

You have Democrat election officials in Pennsylvania literally saying "screw the law we are going to count every ballot we got" in the attempt to change the election result.

This was proven false. If you have concrete evidence of electoral fraud, please present it.

Where was Trump not on the ballot?

Once I saw who was going to be in Trump's cabinet, I was horrified.

I think it is time to use military force, if necessary, to keep Trump out of the White House. Even if it leads to civil war.

Ideally, Biden would cause an insurrection, and save the country from Trump and Musk.

However, Democrats are losers, so they accept the election results. It's almost like the did not want to win the 2024 election, as Harris was as poor of a choice for President as Hilary Clinton in 2016.

So you're saying all that crap about trump being a fascist Nazi existential threat to democracy was bull s hit

I could go on but this bores me. They lie when they are easily proven wrong.

See this @Black Dog? His alternate reality, my actual reality.

It's funny that you guys never do any self-examination about why people keep calling you fascists.

You call is fascists because you are angry that we dont agree with you and the word fascist has an element of justifiable hate.

It a public joke now.

Certainly not a joke to Canada, Europe, and pretty much every First World country. Just ask the children of Europeans, who heard of what their parents went through in the 1930s/40s with the rise of autocratic leaders. I'm sure they could give you an opinion on the similarities between Trump and the MAGA movement, and legitimate fascist countires like Germany, Spain, and Italy.

Trump did not attempt an insurrection. There was a protest that turned into a riot. Some people did some really bad stuff. But Trump did not attempt an insurrection. Even the banana republic couldn't come up with charges.

Just let it go man. You lost. You lost voters in every demographic.

Murder : Assassination

Riot : Insurrection

My mother-in-law remembers. She says the NAZI commanders would come to the village to collect a sort of food tith. They would take a little from each family, but always left most of the food stores for the people.

The Russians on the other hand, took everything.

For what it's worth.

To sum it up:

1. Your mother in law is probably a liar.

2. You are over the age of 70.

3. Which village?

Until you answer my questions truthfully, I will double down. I do not believe you.

The majority of people with personal, and real life experiences with the Nazis are dead.

Hell, George Soros was 13 YEARS OLD in 1944, when him and his father were nearly deported to Auschwitz. Soros is 94 today.

Well the part where all the stuff is horseshit you don't care about. If you did, you wouldn't vote for Trump, who doesn't care about any of that stuff either.

"Fascism may be defined as a form of political behavior marked by obsessive preoccupation with community decline, humiliation, or victim-hood and by compensatory cults of unity, energy, and purity, in which a mass-based party of committed nationalist militants, working in uneasy but effective collaboration with traditional elites, abandons democratic liberties and pursues with redemptive violence and without ethical or legal restraints goals of internal cleansing and external expansion." - Robert Owen Paxton

Pretty much sounds like a description of the Trump campaign in 2024.

The sad thing about some of these people, is they fail to understand that many Government services are ESSENTIAL.

Like seriously, what is gutting the civil service going to accomplish, other than hurting the most vulnerable members of society, the elderly, and others, while being 10x more expensive in the long run. One would think Elon Musk's venture into politics (he took over Twitter solely to make it a right wing echo chamber), where he destroyed the platform, and made it lost billions, would be a clear indication, of what is in store for America when he is at the helm.

The post office costs money? Let's gut it.

OSHA costs money? Let's roll the clock back to 1833, when workers were getting killed, and losing limbs, while factories suffered zero consequences.

Health care? Let's scrap it. Let poor people die.

Social security? Gut it. Once people are over 65, they are worthless.

Education? who needs it? We still have a better system than Zimbabwe, so until they surpass us, it's not an issue!

Welfare? Why provide anything to the poor? In spite of evidence that people who have trouble being employable are almost exclusively physically or mentally ill, let's do away with them.. Survival of the fittest! It will increase crime exponentially, but hey, it saves billionaires from paying higher taxes!

Employment Insurance for people laid off? Tough luck....

Vaccinations? Who needs em? Let's bring back Polio, Measles, and Smallpox!

Public Safety? Let's just do away with civil liberties

Justice? Let's derail the constitution, so that we can jail our opponents.

That's the bottom line.

no I think they understand that, but that's less important than effecting the transfer of wealth from the public sector to the private.

Anyway, I can't take any Republican Trump supporter claiming to care about small, decentralized government seriously when you consider the central plank of Trump's platform, mass deportations, would require a massive expansion of the federal state security and surveillance apparatus at the cost of trillions of dollars.

...and let's ignore the 23 Nobel prize winning economists, who in unison, claim that this will tank the American economy, and lead to possibly the worst recession in US history.

(for the record, by proxy, it will also lead to Canada's worst recession)
