It would make sense. The US had moderate success with reducing his elderly population when it canceled Matlock in 1995, after which many older citizens simply gave up the will to live. However that didn't go anywhere near far enough to significantly alleviate the Boomer strain on social services.

The idea was floated in the early 2000's of strategically placing a  number of Country inn family restaurants at the bottom of cliffs with a sign at the top announcing early bird specials with an arrow pointing down.  While initial testing found this to be effective, focus groups revealed that the public may eventually cotton on and complain. 

Shortly after the segway was introduced to the market, giving mobility challenged people an exciting new way to get hit by cars. Special grants and enticements for the elderly were offered and the results were impressive, but complaints from auto insurers caused the program to shut down. 

Of course we all remember when Apple maps was found to "accidentally" contain errors that lead many of the less tech savvy elderly to wind up stuck in the middle of no where, drive off of bridges that no longer existed, and sending them in circles in roundabouts till they ran out of food.

The introduction of roller blades and  "heelys" took a surprising number of them for reasons that have yet to be explained, but still. 

But nothing had the desired wide scale impact that Covid had.  When you think about it, it was the next logical progression.

In the very first covid threads ever started on this forum, I noted that the virus got to America about 6 months after Trump started crowing about "winning a trade war with China". 

I also made mention of the fact that, just over a decade ago, China was taking brutal measures to enforce their "1 child per couple" law, including holding excess babies in high-mortality maternity wards. If they could do that babies, ie a future generation of workers/students/soldiers, what could they do to old-timers?

If you look at the Chinese culture, they don't ship their elders off to care homes like we do, the younger generations actually provide that care at home. This means that, not only are resources like food and shelter being used to keep the elderly alive longer, it's also keeping members of the younger generations out of the work force. 

Then we also have to consider that the virus mainly targets obese people, and those with diabetes and heart disease, which looks a lot like a bullseye on America.  

I couldn't say if this was a joint venture between the DNC and the Chinese gov't to 'cull the herd', or if it was just China, but one thing that I didn't know back when I was bloviating about this is the fact that Fauci had his evil little fingers in that cookie jar long before the virus left that lab. That's a whole new plot twist.

At one time it was a conspiracy theory to say that the Hunter laptop wasn't Russian disinformation. People were kicked right off of social media platforms for saying that as well.

No one was even considering the possibility that Fauci himself had funded GoF research on the covid virus that ended up killing Americans. Or if anyone did say that then their conspiracy theory never made it to my sphere of influence, and they would have been laughed off the face of the earth, but even that would be correct now. 

When Sean Hannity was saying that the FBI was lying and committing crimes, that was a conspiracy theory. 

I could go on and on and on, but I think that's enough. People who I consider to be valid sources were saying the above things with utter conviction back when the MSM was saying the exact opposite. The conspiracy theorists are winning, io. We're running the table. 

And then there's the whole other matter of serious MSM narratives that completely fell apart, like the Jussie story, the Gentle Giant narrative and V2.0 of it, Russian collusion, Ukrainian collusion, the Whitmer kidnapping, young people need to take a covid jab, the Ukrainians are winning 24/7 but their tanks are just backing up, etc, etc, etc. 

 

At this point it's just time to say that everything that you see on CNN is total BS until the unlikely event that it's proven otherwise.

Off topic nonsense. My post is about conspiracy theories in general... so not specific topics. Conspiracy theories would not be theories if the evidence was there. Conspiracy theories live and breathe because there are gaps and omissions that demand you believe something. I am not a man of belief especially when it comes to hyper-partisan types like you.

Like I said, it was just a conspiracy theory that the jabs weren't preventing the spread of covid. We both lived through that, and you saw it first-hand. I had to tell vax-sycophants here that "If half of the people in Israeli ICUs are jabbed, then they carry enough viral load to infect other people. That means that the jabs don't prevent the spread of covid." It sounds like basic effing common sense. Looking back it seems impossible to believe that wasn't case closedafter seeing that, but that INDISPUTABLE EVIDENCE was met with nothing but scorn and ridicule from people who were still adamant that the jabs' success at preventing the spread of covid justified the vax mandates and vax-passport.

What I said was absolutely a "conspiracy theory" when I was saying it. 

In 2022, with 86% of Canadians vaccinated, covid infections went meteoric. Hospitalizations were over 3x as high as ever before. Deaths were over 30% higher than 2021. The concept of the covid jabs preventing the spread is now considered a farce, and not only that, Pfizer and Moderna said that they never made the claim that their jabs prevented the spread - THEY NEVER EVEN TESTED FOR THAT. 

You don't like to move faster than the pace of the MSM. Where io goes, the path must be broad and firm. 

I say F that. I don't wait for the MSM to start telling the truth. I tell the truth when I know it, and people like you call me a conspiracy theorist, then you don't apologize.

did you notice that I have yet to mention COVID in this thread? Hmmm.. its very easily proven. Get my posts, put them in Word or Notepad ++, hit ctrl + F, and see what it comes up with. I know that you can't get out of your own way but I am referring to conspiracy theories in general.. lets repeat that.. in general. Do you know that means?

It's normal to mention specific conspiracy theories in a thread about "conspiracy theories".

You seem to think that you're the post/thread police or something, and that people can only post about topics that interest you, and speak about them on your exact terms.

Go find an echo chamber, io. Find a group of people who only say things that you want to hear. That seems to be all that you're capable of.

I come armed with a bulletproof case that show every transaction, where it was done, who received what.. no gaps of any kind. No filling in the blanks.

Quite dense, it appears. It is a simple matter of having every fact in place before making accusations. The last one was a fictitious employer. I went to the address given and took pictures. The company listed in the claim was nowhere to be found. We had pictures, video, transcripts, exact times and places such as an IP address, make/model of computer used, no gaps of any kind. That is not a yes man.. that is proving a case thoroughly. I know that you can't comprehend this.

There were no holes in my post about the "vaxes prevent the spread of covid" post either.

You know as well as anyone that the reason we forced young, healthy people to vax was to "stop the spread". 

You know as well as anyone that the covid jab does not "stop the spread" now. It doesn't even slow it down, and no one is saying that it does. Vax apologists have had to backpeddle their efficacy claims all the way to "deaths are only up because the number of infections is up by a far wider margin now", and the only step left now is to admit that the jab was a total failure. 

You were pretending not to be interested in the posts that said "The jabs aren't stopping the spread of covid". You know that was major bone of contention for the anti-jabbing crowd because THERE WAS A FACKING FREEDOM CONVOY, and that's what it was about.

In the dead of the Canadian winter, people drove all the way across Canada and parked their cars and rigs in downtown Ottawa and slept there for WEEKS!

Those people were "conspiracy theorists" by your definition of the word. They endured the freezing cold and the slander from our prime minister and sat there for days while the MSM said "The reason they are there is because of covid disinformation". 

Well how do you like your disinformation, jackass? Do you want it with a side of "Who's laughing now, motherfuccer"? Because that's all you get.
