In French, the word detente has a sexual connotation.

I recall a plaque in Riga: Kennedy had been there in 1938.

I recall a photo in a hotel in Peru: Nixon had stayed there in the 1950s.

These two guys understood the world.

  2. If they can't refute the content, attack the poster.
  3. If 1 and 2 fail, pretend it never happened.

  5. A word is defined by the emotion it elicits and not the actual definition.

  7. If a liberal policy didn't work, it's a conservatives fault and vice versa.
  8. If all else fails, just be angry.

Detente is a word that encapsulates Trump's foreign policy work perfectly.

Moreso than any other president in modern history, Trump has always shown a willingness to meet with people face-to-face when the pressure was highest.

He met with Xi, he met with Putin, he met with KJU, he met with the leader of the Taliban, and every time he did, he ratcheted down tensions and made the world more peaceful. At the same time, he strengthened his bonds and renewed commitments to America' allies in the ME and Asia.

Leftists like to think of his meetings as say that his meetings are examples of him 'cozying up to dictators', but Trump was very keen on getting NATO allies to ramp up their readiness while he was de-escalating tension.

WTF did Biden do to lessen tensions anywhere?

Biden literally spent ALL his time and money building resolve for foreign wars and raising money to kill people.

The concept of detente is completely foreign to Joe Biden. He sits in a bunker, ignoring the media, and he revels in the hatred and killing.

You are so FOS. Biden built resolve FOR DEFENSE of a NATION INVADED with the intent of OCCUPATION and ANNEXATION.

Putin ONLY wants to PLUNDER a formerly independent nation of their NATURAL RESOURCES because he is the LARGEST KLEPTOCRAT in the WORLD.

And you are just Putin Puppet and surrender monkey.

If Biden actually had resolved that nation would not have been invaded in the first place.

What's with the snot-bubbling tantrum?

Go see what detente means, dummy.

surrender monkey

At the end of the day, the absolute fact of the matter is that under Joe Biden, massively destructive wars broke out in the ME and Europe, and whatever you want to say Biden did or did not do, it cost millions of lives, entire cities were destroyed, and Ukraine lost 20% of their country.

Put whatever spin on it you want, robo; this is just another MASSIVE Biden failure, and just like Trump cleaned up Obama's mess, Trump will end this Russian-Ukraine war quickly.

Trump could have prevented this war entirely, or ended it 900,000 lives ago if he was elected earlier, and Ukraine probably wouldn't have even have lost any territory. And not just Trump, there are dozens of Republicans who would have handled this far better than Biduhhh. Cruz, DeSantis, Ramaswamy, Gabbard, etc.

You're just way too stupid to participate in this conversation, robo. The smart thing for you to do is just bow out quietly.

IT would be smart of you to check your "FACTS," like the FACT that there are 1M CASUALTIES NOT DEATHS.

Oct 9, 2024  Russia has sustained more than 600,000 casualties during the war in Ukraine, a sign of losses accelerating out of proportion with its gains, ...

Sep 17, 2024  A confidential Ukrainian estimate from earlier this year put the number of dead Ukrainian troops at 80,000 and the wounded at 400,000, according ...

Hey,  for a year you INSISTED it was IMPOSSIBLE for trump to win.  You insisted that the democrats had found "kryptonite' and now trump could never win.  It was impossible.

You don't know shit about politics, you have no understanding how any of this works.  You've been wrong consistently.

Guess that wasn't kryptonite after all.  Loser.
