Policies that prioritize terrorists over soldiers?  Please...that's ridiculous and only speaks to a tired old partisan grudge that advances no ones interests other than to maintain divisiveness.

Khadr's case was out of the government's hands once it landed in the SC of Canada's.  Ironically it was only handed to them because of bitter partisan sentiments like your's that insured politicians wouldn't be able to settle things on their own.

The SC is usually the only adult left in the room in our political system nowadays. Try changing that if you really want to divide Canada.

Well it looks a lot as you describe it from this side of the playground...Cover up money so people would not find out this nations true character....Let me make myself clear their is no sides to divide on one side we have Canadian soldiers, who fight for our interests, then we have the terrorist who wanted nothing more than to kill coalition soldiers, Canadians included....Now you want to take up for terrorist, then thats your choice, some good old fashion moral values right there....

I should not have thought any different you've been cheerleading for hamas since that started up...your getting more patriotic everyday...

We as a nation should have stepped up on day one charged this guy with everything in the book and left him and his terrorist family to rot in prison...or sent them back to Afghanistan where they would have looked after him in the right way...

division how terrorist on one side and Canadians on the other....

We, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have now done so much for so long with so little, we are now capable of doing anything with nothing.

you very obviously know that's not true or you'd have addressed the point instead of trying to dismiss it with the usual leftie tactic of "why are we talking about this".

Trudeau considered paying out that money to a terrorist to be a very high priority,  helped him shelter it and hide it from the families of the fallen soldiers,  and moved fast to make sure he had it in hand.   Conversely he's ignored the needs of his own vets and now we hear they're offered MAID instead of treatment in some cases.

It's a night and day contrast you can't just blow off by saying "uhhhhmmm you bad for bringing it up!!!"

Nope.

The Supreme Court found that “Canada actively participated in a process contrary to Canada’s international human rights obligations and contributed to Mr. Khadr’s ongoing detention so as to deprive him of his right to liberty and security of the person guaranteed by s. 7 of the Charter, contrary to the principles of fundamental justice.” However, the Court did not go as far as the Federal Court to order that Canada repatriate Mr. Khadr. Instead, the Supreme Court left it open to the government of Canada to determine how best to remedy the rights violations suffered by Mr. Khadr.

So you're wrong again. We didn't need to bring him back, we didn't need to give him money. That was a decision justin made.

We SURE AS HELL didn't need to shelter the money from the widows in the states looking for it to sue.

Your liberal and dipper buddies have already divided us.  We're past that point now.

I know this is old news, and i've almost given up writing about liberal screw ups as they are so many recently...but i mean come on does nobody vet these people at all, Human rights chair, accused of having ties with known terrorist group..

We are following the UN's hiring template now.

Next time there's a terrorist attack in Canada, the first place we need to look for clues and suspects is the UN.

If CNN gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

As far as Liberal appointments go - we, as Canadian citizens, should have at least questioned why almost all of Trudeau's wedding party received appointments.

That's not normal and we have to stop acting like it is.

None of them were even remotely qualified to do those jobs and VOILA!  Canada is in a mess, but at least Trudeau's wedding party buddies are all millionaires now.

Probably for the same reason Dominic LeBlanc awarded a lucrative snow crab licence and quota to his wife's cousin.

Every single thing Liberals do needs to be scrutinized for corruption. It's been this way for decades and decades.

Just woke up recently did you?

A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.

"WE"  as canadians did.  Lots of canadians had those concerns.

The challenge is that the liberal supporters and the ndp supporers (people like eyeball) simply would rather see the country burn than vote against their party or vote FOR a party like the cpc that they've been raised to believe is one step short of satan worship.

We're going to have problems until the left in the eastern provinces get it into their heads that parties that are corrupt must be punished and parties that are incompetent must be removed.  I don't just mean you don't like what they do, that's part of politics.  But trudeau has been corrupt since 4 months into the job and they kept voting for him and jaggers who kept propping them up.
