Oh my! It's interesting that American Libbies would want to tamp down freedoms, when "Life Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness" are enshrined in their constitution. I, for one, am encouraged to comment even more now, by this obvious objection to Canuck opinions to US politics. After all... Somebody has to teach them what the US Capital City is.. Someone had to teach YOU the difference between a city jail and a Federal prison. Duh Quote

I guess I confused you by mentioning the non-existence of my knowledge of Canadian history and the fact I would not dispute that with a Canadian citizen, like Canadians do dispute the converse HERE. From watching Jay Leho and Rick Mercer talk to Americans on the streets. Articles and interviews of influential Americans claiming theie own Civil War was about "something else". Presidential candidates and backers telling black Americans that sometime in the past America was 'greater" - and hearing a few black people agree. Quote

In College I took the history of Modern Japan and the History of Modern Brazil and in both case didn't get to the modern history of them until the end of the semester. Quote

I was in Windermere getting something at a gas station and this guy walks up to me, figures out that I am an American, and then asks me if I am here to get some tail. I paused and then he asked. "if so, any hints as to where I can get a good one or two?" I did not know what to say really but I replied, "Uh.. not quite, with the wife, mother in law and other in laws". explain that one.. do Americans go up to the Canadian Rockies to get laid? Lol...i don't know... But...when I was in high-school, one of the Calgary radio stations used to drive a winnebago out to a field on Windermere and blast music. There'd be hundreds of us there. I think the local biker chapter owned the land cause there was always a lot of em there. One year someone drove a Cadillac Eldorado onto the bon fire. Friggin flamed out like crazy for a while. Lake Louise was always my favourite. Then I got old.. I never tried Norquay. My cousins tell me it's steep. I'd love to take the family for a Banff ski holiday. I'd stick to the bunny runs now though. 1 Quote Its so lonely in m'saddle since m'horse died.
