Meh if they were men behaving the same way the right wouldn’t question it for a minute. The truth is these events are always chaotic in real life, and rarely if ever look like they do in a Hollywood movie.

This is false on its face. The right is currently criticizing every aspect of failure around what happened that day, including the men involved there.

You can't actually deal with the facts here, so you are trying to distract.

The facts are that those 3 women were bumbling around, unable to holster a firearm, and just looked bad.

That’s what these things look like in real life.  Remember the SS agent struggling to climb on the back of JFKs limo?  Righties would have lost their minds had that been a woman, it would have been “proof” that women are unqualified for the job and evil affirmative action is to blame.

No, that is not what these things look like in real life. Some rise to the occasion, others do not. We can see examples of others there acting far more professionally and not everyone was so clearly bumbling around like these 3 were.

You are trying to compare an agent trying to crawl up the back of a speeding vehicle to this? LOL, you are not a serious person.

The simple fact is that the Secret Service is the top of the top of executive protection. It is like the Olympic Dream Team of Basketball, able to recruit the absolute top-tier best of the best. Highly competitive.

But yeah, sure, Larry, Curly and Moe there were the best... yeah right. Clearly better men were passed over for those clowns.

Not to even mention why you would have small women on a protective meat shield around a 6 foot tall man like Trump. It makes no practical sense other than, they are women and we want to promote women because they are women. Its the same reason why, no matter how amazing you are, you are not going to put the 4 foot 5 dude up to surround the President...

You’re exaggerating the “bumbling” and in that scene they are not part of the “meat shield” (which gets in the vehicle and leaves with trump). They are the security between the meat shield and the crowd and they are facing the crowd and remained after the vehicle departed. They got bumped and jostled a little by the meat shield which is behind them a little and given the tight space between them and the crowd there was some moving around for a second but as I said that’s how these things actually look in real life. Don’t rely on Hollywood movies as your reference point.

Sure. That video has gone viral because I am exaggerating.

Yes, one of those women was literally on stage with him as part of the meat shield and was comically shorter than Trump, clearly not blocking him well at all.

That is why she was at the vehicle on the video bumbling around... she had just walked off stage with him.

I am not relying on the movies at all. I have friends who were on the Uniformed Secret Service who spent their entire time there just praying they could land a slot on the protective details it was so competitive.

I also have a lot of experience in executive protection as well.

You can sit here trying to pretend they were not bumbling fools all you like, you are only kidding yourself.

Trump should have been removed as soon as the counter sniper team first saw the threat, at least 2 minutes before shots rang out.

For me, this is the crux of this event.  I don’t quite know why I feel this way, but I do.

Most of the interactions between the police and the crowd members that tried to warn them about the man with a gun, they could be explained away.  The cops couldn’t see him.  Or they looked and saw nothing.  Or they assessed the person warning them and decided he/she was a crank.  Or a hundred other explanations on why the warnings were not heeded.

But when the counter sniper team themselves saw the sniper crawling into position.  This was a clear and present danger.  They either reported it or they didn’t.  There is no other option.  If they didn’t report it, then they are complicit in the crime.

Then, their superiors either passed the threat along to the Secret Service or they didn’t.  There is no other option.  If they  didn’t pass it along, then they are complicit in the crime.

Then, the Secret Service either decided to act on the warning, or they didn’t get the warning.  I don’t think they would leave Trump in harm’s way had they been warned that there was a sniper on the roof.  Or they too would have been complicit in the crime.

What am I missing?

Holy Crap. Watch this video. We are only recruiting the best for the Secret Service and not just trying to promote women to the detail just because they want more women on the detail...

I have friends I served with in the Marine Corps who spent their entire carrerrs with the Uniformed Secret Service just hoping, praying, training and killing themselves trying to get on the protective details.

Then I see videos like this. What a load of shit.

You can't say with any honesty that there were not better, more qualified men that were passed over for being on a protective detail for those 3 women.

I've seen the case made before that women add another dimension in local PDs.

Sometimes they have an advantage over men or are better at calming people down, or interrogation, etc, but when it comes to straight-up dealing with violence and threats, women don't compare to men. Period. Even elite female fighters aren't a match for an untrained, average-sized male of average fitness.

And there isn't a female anywhere on earth who can beat even a small guy who's trained to fight. Manny Pacquaio fights under 150 lbs and there's not a woman on earth who could last one round with him, and that's with pillows attached to his hands.

A guy who's 5'10, 185 lbs and plays recreational sports is capable of beating any woman in the world in any combat sport.

When it comes to protecting the president, etc, there's just no way that any woman is better than all the male candidates left behind. That was a joke.

If CNN gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

If you missed something on the Cultist Narrative Network, don't worry, the dolt horde here will make sure everyone hears it.

Oh sure. I agree... and I am not opposed to *any* female SS agents either. Clearly you need them for certain situations and to help protect females and more easily go into female spaces...

BUT... you have a much narrower field to fill there and can choose the best of the best, still knowing they have their limits and back them up.

However, just putting women in the SS because DEI, want to fill a quota of having more women... is sheer madness.

Gotta fix your ‘lie by omission’:

Before joining PepsiCo, she served with distinction for 27 years in the U.S. Secret Service, most recently as Assistant Director of the Office of Protective Operations.  In this position, Ms. Cheatle managed a $133.5M budget and collaborated with ten operational divisions and the Technical Security Division to research, develop and deploy technologies that reduce risks to protectees, protected facilities, and protected events.

Prior to serving as Assistant Director, Ms. Cheatle served as the Special Agent in Charge of the Atlanta Field Office, providing oversight for all mission related investigations, protective intelligence and protective visits in the state of Georgia.

Ms. Cheatle was appointed to the Senior Executive Service (SES) in February 2016 as the Special Agent in Charge of the James J. Rowley Training Center (RTC). There she directed and coordinated all aspects of training and career development for the organization, later serving as the Deputy Assistant Director for the Office of Training.

Prior to her SES appointment, Ms. Cheatle was the Special Agent in Charge, Office of Strategic Planning and Policy, where she developed and deployed an innovative web-based communication platform designed to promote open and transparent communication within the organization.

Then on July 12th, Ms. Cheatle didn't notice the building by the stage where Trump's rally was being held.

The only spot on earth that's better than the building that the shooter climbed onto was the 3 buildings behind the stage. He probably should have tried one of those ones.

And it's not like there was just one of them. There were 4 in that video, and obviously the team leader was also a female.

this failure doesn't do women in that field any favours, that's for sure.
