WestCanMan Posted January 16 Author Report Posted January 16 At the risk of sounding like a conspiracy theorist, does it seem like these DEI hires might be getting put in place to take the fall? Those women got their jobs when that part of LA was long-known to have serious fire problems, so much so that insurers were walking away from giving fire insurance in that area, and not much was being done about it. Then there's an empty reservoir, 100+ fire trucks in for repairs, the budget is slashed by $23M... It seems like they were put there when they were almost guaranteed to fail. On the other hand, there were some pretty basic steps that they didn't take, eg having trucks out ahead of time, like they do in Florida when there's a storm coming. According to Adam Corolla, there are ALWAYS fires when it gets windy because all the power poles are so old. Still, it looks kinda fishy. Anyways, there were those dimwits in California when this natural gentrification disaster occurred, and then Kamala was basically set up by being thrown into the mix as Tweedle-Dumb's partner, with predictable results. It's like being an NHL goalie when all the defensemen on your team are like.... Joe Biden 🤣 All in all it was a pretty rough few months for DEI hires, but I don't know who could have done better in Kamala's position, or the position those fire chiefs were put in.
