robosmith
With Trump's trial underway, most Americans now believe he falsified records to hide hush money payment Quote For the first time, a new Yahoo News/YouGov poll shows that a majority of Americans — 52% — believe Donald Trump falsified business records to conceal a hush money payment to a porn star — the charge at the center of his ongoing criminal trial in Manhattan. This represents a new high — and a significant increase from previous Yahoo News/YouGov polls conducted before courtroom testimony began last month, suggesting that coverage of the trial may be shifting perceptions of Trump’s conduct. ^This means only the MAGA CULT has impenetrable cognitive dissonance which keeps them from accepting the FACTS. The polls keep going up despite the trial. If he's guilty, there will be a slight backslide. If he isn't convicted, he will gain in the polls big time. After that many years of the dems saying "HE'S A CRIMINAL HE"S A CRIMINAL" every hour on the hour every day for the last 2,920 days at this point people are just saying "yeah hes' a terrible person Yawn - so you say he'll lower inflation?!? gatomontes99
This came out a few hours ago. They need to get him to NY tomorrow and this case will be over. Even the D judge will have to admit it wasn't a valid charge. Further, he would have to admit that the prosecutors intentionally ignored exculpatory evidence. 1

You are the one who keeps conflating public perception in your response to me and in this thread with facts. I am not lying when I clearly point out these basic concepts that perception does not make something factual or not.
gatomontes99
Only 1 in 3 US adults think Trump acted illegally in New York hush money case, AP-NORC poll shows The liberal AP says 2/3 people think he did nothing illegal. Sounds like only hard core D's think Trump is guilty.

Sounds like only hard core D's think Trump is guilty. The other challenge they've got is that the democrats are frequently busted and fined for campaign contribution violations. For example Hillary and the democrats were both fined for not disclosing the steel dossier payments. So they literally spent money to influence an election directly, didn't report it, got caught and had to pay a big fine, and no criminal charges but now we are supposed to believe that trump spending money in a similar fashion is a crime worthy of jail. The democrats would have an easier time selling the idea that all of these legal mistakes are terrible if they hadn't been committing them themselves the whole time

Trump had a pretty f*cking good turnout in Jersey. I wouldn't be surprised if he took that state right out from underneath the hair sniffer's nose. Just think, roboslut, when DT gets back into the WH, one of the first things he's going to do is deport a whole shit load of your scumbag illegal alien friends. Won't that be marvelous? But you've also chosen to cite a poll from last month, before the trial. Was that deliberate? Today, after having seen much of the evidence, a majority of Americans think that Trump did indeed falsify his business records. More to the point, does that change your opinion one way or the other? And if not, it raises the question of why you are citing polls if you don't find them compelling? Edited May 17 by Hodad

And if not, it raises the question of why you are citing polls if you don't find them compelling? The evidence has been out there forever. Nobody has changed their mind in the last few months. And two things can be true at once. People can believe that trump screwed around with his business records to try and hide the fact that he bought off a hooker and at the same time believe he did nothing wrong. People are sick of the dems trying to villify trump for every single thing and they know hillary and her boy did FAR worse buying off women and the dems are fine with that. So they see the hypocrisy and write off the whole thing.
