The progressive rallying cry of “tax the rich” has morphed into a popular policy stance with voters in the key states that will decide the 2024 election, enjoying support even among those who prefer billionaire Donald Trump, according to the latest Bloomberg News/Morning Consult poll.

Fully 69% of registered voters in seven swing states say they favor higher taxes on billionaires, and they support higher income taxes on people who make more than $400,000 a year by the same margin, a potential boon to Democratic President Joe Biden’s economic agenda if he wins a second term. 

Of course Trump completely ABANDONED his promise to eliminate the carried interest deduction for hedge fund BILLIONAIRES who pay less than 20% income tax.

Sure it's popular. About 45 percent of americans believe in it. Which is why 55 percent are voting for trump

I'm sure Joe Biden will be on board with the rich paying even more than they already do in taxes. But it's ironic in that his own son(very wealthy) is up on charges for.....tax evasion lol.

Its 69% now. It was 45% before Trump proved why it should be higher.

Actually it should be 10% across the board. If the gov can't keep its shit together on 10% taxes then it needs new blood in there.
