The NDP, the Conservatives and their former leader Erin O’Toole were granted intervenor standing, meaning they won’t be able to ask questions of any witnesses.

So once again the libs move to cover up their actions.  I don't know if they were complicit in helping the chinese give them money for their candidates, but they sure go out of their way to make it look like that's the case.

From the article;

Conservative MP Michael Chong who was directly targeted by China applied for standing with the Conservatives, Hogue said she would consider any application Chong put forward for separate standing at the commission.

Well that's something at least and I suspect Chong will avail himself of this opportunity. But of course Chong is practically a Liberal himself so - he probably even voted for Trudeau right?

A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.

Hopefully.  But - the ndp should be included as well.

Not sure why anyone should be surprised at the liberals actions any more, do anyone really think that the liberal run commission is going to uncover any evidence or make that evidence available to the the opposition let alone the public...that would implicate the liberals in any way....all these commissions should be run by those that are not implicated in the actual event... in this case the Conservatives, and bloc...and we wonder why we have no faith in the government...

We, the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful. We have now done so much for so long with so little, we are now capable of doing anything with nothing.

Well i don't know that i'd say i'm "surprised", that's for sure ;)   But it is still very disappointing - you'd think after their first 'sweep it under the rug' attempt they'd just get it done and not drag it out but that's exactly what will happen now when the opposition points out they were denied

From what article?

Was there a link to an article that's gone now?
