Well of course it does. Why on earth would you say that, it makes zero sense. Racism does lead to tensions obviously, and the fact that some jews think other jews aren't jewish enough has absolutely noting to do with that. I agree that 'ideological reasons' are mostly responsible for the tensions at least in our own country. There is this theory of seeing oppression as a binary concept. The world is divided up into 'oppressors' or 'oppressed'. It doesn't matter how old you are, what kind of skin one has, what your beliefs are, you either belong to one group or the other. There is no middle ground. And the left has labelled Jews as the oppressors and the Palestinians as the oppressed. The left may not control the country but they control more than their share of the narrative. This may help to explain the rise of antisemitism.
