Evidence is on the side of creation. The evidence is in the creation itself. It's extreme complexity points to the need for an intelligent designer-Creator. Science has barely scratched the surface of the complexity of life. The very fact of the complexity of the universe and of even the simple cell tells us that it required an extremely intelligent, designer - creator. Darwinists start from the premise that only a theory called evolution can explain the existence of the universe and life. That is an extremely biased starting point because they do not have the proof. It is a religion to them. Setting a premise like that is like putting a wall up and saying you cannot cross. The fact is the existence of the complex universe points to the need for a designer. The idea that it happened by accident has been rejected by many highly educated people. You have no absolute reproducible evidence. Guess what? neither do I. The difference is that I can admit it. Quote

" Death is the result of sin in the world, and without the hope of a Savior to forgive us for our sins, we are under the wrath of God. But thanks be to God that He sent His only Son to die for our sins and rise again to give believers eternal life in Jesus Christ (John 3:16). While we still face the physical consequences of living in a fallen world, death, we can set our hope in the promises of God through Jesus Christ, and rest secure knowing heaven awaits those who die in Christ. We are either just a cosmic accident in a universe which happened by chance or some cosmic accident or we were created by an infinitely powerful God who had a purpose in mind. I believe that we were created for a purpose. If one does not believe the Bible and Jesus Christ, he is living a life of hopelessness with nothing to look forward to. And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.” Acts 10:43: “To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.” Acts 11:17,18: “Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God? And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; and put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.” Acts 16:31: “And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.” Acts 18:8: “And Crispus, the chief ruler of the synagogue, believed on the Lord with all his house; and many of the Corinthians hearing believed, and were baptized.” Acts 22:16: “And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.” Acts 26:18: “To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.” Romans 1:16: “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.” Romans 1:17: “For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.” Romans 3:22a: “Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe:” Romans 3:25: “Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;” Romans 3:26: “To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.” Romans 3:28: “Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith without the deeds of the law.” Romans 3:30: “Seeing it is one God, which shall justify the circumcision by faith, and uncircumcision through faith.” Romans 4:3: “For what saith the scripture? And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sarah’s womb: he staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.” Romans 5:1: “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:” Romans 5:2: “By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” Romans 4:20-25: “He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God; and being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness. And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things! But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report? So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Romans 11:20: “Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. You can keep repeating the same erroneous ideas but scripture is clear faith alone is dead. Don't get snippy with me. Quote

All you have to do is go to creation.com and start reading or watching videos. Words whether spoken or written down are what all knowledge rests on. That is all there is. If you don't accept what is written, you are in big trouble. It means you don't accept what anyone else says unless it fits your world view. That is your problem. words by themselves are not evidence... Just because it is written down by someone at a given time does not mean that it is evidence of anything.. Come on now, lets not play stupid. There are plenty of things that you have read that you would not qualify as absolute, reproducible evidence of something. Quote

That is how events, science, news, history, etc. is all recorded for our benefit. We have to study things and determine it's truth and accuracy. The veracity of what one reads can only be determined by the person reading it. You have to make that judgment yourself. But to say written information can never be absolute truth is nonsensical and irrational. How else can anyone know anything about anything if not by written information? It is up to the reader to determine what is true and what is false. Some things may have to be investigated further from other sources to verify something. Quote

Kind of like reading sola scriptura and sola fide into scripture. Jesus says one thing but you decide what he means. Quote

Luther never wrote the Bible, but he received God's grace to discover what the Bible teaches was totally different than what Rome had been teaching. He found Romans taught salvation is by grace through faith. Rome was busy selling indulgences to sinners. If you paid the money you could receive forgiveness for certain sins, even sins that had not yet been committed. So people were buying these indulgences. This horrified Luther, which of course it should. Imagine Rome through their puppet Tetzel was making lots of money for Rome selling papers that purportedly gave forgiveness for certain sins. That was a wake-up call for the Reformers. Quote

That is a false interpretation. Salvation is by faith because justification comes by an individual faith in Jesus shedding his blood and dying on the cross for him personally. Nobody can earn salvation. It is a gift of God by grace through faith. Once one is saved by God's grace through faith, then he can work. But he cannot earn his salvation by doing good works. Paul condemns that idea in Galatians. Ephesians 2:8,9 reject the idea works has any part in salvation. The Bible is so clear on this that you would have to be rejecting the Bible to not see it or be willfully blind. Remember salvation comes first in an instant; then the Christian can do good works or live a Christ honouring life. The idea of doing works to earn salvation is unbiblical and repugnant. It is the epitome of false religion. Salvation is not an ongoing process as Rome teaches. That is a denial of the true gospel. Also nobody can atone for their own sins. NO priest can grant forgiveness with "absolution". One must go to God through Jesus Christ and be born again. Then they are forgiven. Masses, confessions to priests, penances, all these things are unbiblical and cannot pay for sins. Edited February 29 by blackbird Quote
