What’s Happening Environmentally And Through Social Engineering To Our Ability To Reproduce?

Sperm counts are down in industrialized countries and reproductive rates are in negative territory across the West.  What is happening?  Are we destroying natural hormone development? Are we social engineering people away from heterosexual intercourse?  Is porn a factor in sperm counts and behaviour?  We have a crisis on our hands in terms of perpetuating humanity, especially given the coming demographic drop as the Boomers die off.

I can agree with some part of that, but don't tell me you have a conspiracy behind that? 

An explanation is that women in the West gained more access to education and became more focused on careers rather than solely being homemakers and making kids? 

Personally, I believe the role of a mother is incredibly important, but this is about finding an explanation to your concerns, this is what the discussion is about, so considering the increased access to education, it could be a simpler explanation that many women in the West pursued careers, sometimes at the expense of the old school traditions, due to these new opportunities in education, here in the West. 

I think that’s a factor.  I also think that the high cost of living and increased urbanization (which puts property at a premium) are also factors. I also wonder if there’s a push to destabilize the family. Church attendance has fallen significantly, as much as 30 percent since pre-pandemic time.  I wonder about environmental factors.  I don’t pretend to have the answers, which is why I’m asking these questions.

Because, I mean, sure there are progressive strongholds that are growing, but let's not pretend that the social conservatives don't have their Bible belt, they have their strongholds here too, and now with the arrival of social conservatives Middle Easterns, this faction will increase and will balance things out. 

And a lot of progressives will say then, but I was pro-immigration, how come a religious Muslim man will ally himself with @Zeitgeist. Interesting dynamics ahead. 

I think we need to think about our direction and what constitutes actual progress.  Not anything goes, or if we want to keep pushing the envelope of what is normalized, there will be consequences.  In Canada this push is happening on many fronts: euthanasia, hard drugs, gender affirmation, celebrating lifestyles that were recently considered taboo in elementary schools, etc.
