Republican Conference Tells Young Women to Give Up Their Dreams & Their Birth Control

“Every ill that we're fighting right now in society has been brought forth by women," Candace Owens said at Turning Point USA's Young Women's Leadership Summit.

This past weekend marked the conservative organization Turning Point USA’s annual Young Women’s Leadership Summit. Over the course of three days, as Media Matters’ Madeline Peltz reported, a stacked roster of some of the worst people on the internet offered some variation of the same speech imploring young attendees to give up their career aspirations and their birth control. The Daily Wire’s Candace Owens literally wrapped up the convention by telling attendees, “Every ill that we are fighting right now in society has been brought forth by women.”

Ironically, nearly all the speakers at the conference—from Owens and TPUSA’s podcast lead Alex Clark to Fox host Laura Ingraham and Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.)—were invited because of their high-power, high-earning careers and massive platforms. But they spent the duration of their speeches preaching that if young women focus on professional dreams rather than marriage and childrearing, then (as Clark put it) they’re contributing to our “degenerate rotten culture.”

….

Charlie Kirk—TPUSA’s founder and, for all intents and purposes, a dude—spoke several times at the conference, but offered his most notable remarks to a college student who shared her dreams of becoming a successful surgeon, as well as her concerns with the tension between this ambition and her desire to start a family. “You’re going to have to choose which one matters more,” Kirk told her.

According to Peltz, Kirk instructed the young woman to “spend a couple of days with infants and see how she feels afterward,” told her she’d run out of time to find a husband if she focused on her professional aspirations in her 20s, and then hit her with this utter doozy: “There are a lot of successful, 35-year-old orthopedic surgeons that have cats, and not kids, and they’re very miserable.”.

….The rest of the conference saw Kirk call women “cliquey” and “mean”—compared to men, who commit the overwhelming majority of homicides around the world—as he encouraged attendees to network with each other.

There are a growing percentage of women who are single and lonely.

Many men are finding women overseas, as a result, who embrace more traditional roles.

I am no different.

My wife is Asian, owns a business, but also is a traditional wife. She cooks, cleans, supports her husband.

I have a more traditional role as a male. I financially have supported her, and helped her grow her business. I also help around the house, with repairs, cleaning etc.

We are happy.

With that said, this doesn't work for all women.

However  have dated a few "woke" women, who were miserable to be around.

Would ask you nothing but loaded questions, so they could pounce on you with their vitriol.

IE "Do you like when a woman cooks for you?"

Of course, I appreciate it.

"You know what?! Women were not put on the planet to cook for you. Just because one is a woman, doesn't make cooking part of her role"

Ok. I appreciate one cooking for me, but was taught to cook and bake as a child. My ex wife cooked for me, but I often cooked for her. I don't see cooking as a gendered thing. I simply appreciate the gesture and all women I have dated who did it, never were asked to once.

Same woman insisted on paying for both on the date, and I would rather die than have someone take my bill.

This was a major turnoff, and she was shocked when I told her she wasn't my type.

Women like this prefer everyone to walk on eggshells around them, as long as they are comfortable.

Prefer to suppress anything they feel is a threat.

I don't think an industrious woman is a threat to anyone. Again my wife is a business owner.

But one who is narssissitic, domineering and miserable will find it hard to find any takers.

Also, if a woman whines about not getting equal pay for the same role, but feels entitled (which am not disputing the right to) to take a year off work after each baby when the men she is competing with are there everyday, is delusional at best.

Kind of the same entitlement seen in the WNBA, for wage increases, even though the league is operating at a loss every year, and many arenas sit empty. Entitled to what, exactly? What business sitting on the edge of bankruptcy gives raises to staff?

Women aren't the problem here.

Radical feminists, are.

Any woman stating she won't date me when I was broke but in college and ambitious in my early 20s, is the problem.

Well into my career in my 30s, my own home and car, now those women were flocking to me, are the problem.

Type of woman who wants equalities in situations that must be earned, just because.

Same woman per above, would expect the man to pay for the first date, make a certain salary have a car and the like.

If the only thing you have to offer is between your legs, but you feel entitled to a millionaire--that type of woman is the issue. That entitlement. Want the good s*** 50/50. Keep all the bad s***.

Nothing to offer, can't cook, can't clean. Dated broke women with that entitlement. Then will get butthurt if I f*** and chuck her.

I gave my wife a grand early in our relationship. She flipped it and turned it to 4. I was in love.

She knew how to cook, to run a business, to clean, to iron, to do repairs around the home by the time she was 12.

They don't raise women like this, anymore in the west.

A bunch of useless people with no skills and no value, but sky high entitlement. That's the woke mob in a nutshell.

Wjat I find hilarious is that it’s called a “women’s leadership” summit but the whole theme is that women have no place in leadership and are meant to be servants.

An interesting observation is that this conservative women’s rally isn’t even trying to encourage these women to become politically active conservatives…..it wants them to drop out and tune out entirely and leave politics, business and professional careers exclusively to men.   This is because most women aren’t conservative. Even conservative women end up being more moderate than male conservatives so the real agenda is to subtract women from politics entirely.

Which is why there should be paid paternity leave.

Maybe you weren’t much of a catch?

I would agree, but then why were the same types who rejected me, flocking to me when I had my money in order?

If it were the opposite, I would be 100% in agreement. I just wasn't a good catch.

But why the switch?

My confidence in myself was unchanged.

Or maybe its the aspect that some women want a man who can take care of them.

Or you attract gold-digging whores and nice ladies still think you’re not much of a catch?

I mean, most the women I have dated in my 30's had been married, are well into their careers and are classy. I mean, women who were business owners, in politics, lawyers, etc. My wife, is a business owner. I don't date pigeons.

I wouldn't give a low IQ woman the time of day.

She needs to be pretty, a boss b****, independent and have a head on her shoulders or I lose interest quick.

Such women didn't like me back then, as girls like bad boys. Women tend to like men who have their s*** together.

Hi.

Been browsing this train of thought and figured I'd throw in my 2 cents worth.

As a young man in my 20's, I was that "bad boy". I did drugs and drank whiskey and gin, only to excess. Most of my friends had rock bands who would invite me to guest with them from time to time. Oh it was something. Hot and cold running girls...free just about everything... Then I met my high-strung Euro-babe wife.

"Long on hair, short on brains." She said. I wound up having a lifetime of hair growth, unceremoniously chopped off just so she'd marry me. I gave up hard drugs. I quit slutting around with my band friends. We went back to her home to clear her immigration to Canada up, and I wound up the IT manager at the Canuck embassy. My career took off...we had a little girl...moved back to Canuckland...and today, I'm 40 lbs fatter...my hair is completely white...we have 3 grown spawn...and the girls still flirt with me because as one recently said to me, "you're older, have a slight belly, and so you have money."

For 32 years now, my Euro-babe wife has worked, raised our kids, cleaned and organized, and made this house a family home. For that, I can never thank her enough.

She comments regularly how she simply does not understand Canadian women. "I do to like being woman. They...do not to like."

And ya know...I think she's on to something there...

Lived with the smartest woman I ever met for almost a year, then she threw me out over what seemed to me the pettiest of reasons.

Found out later from her best friend it was for the same reason her previous bf got tossed after almost a year.
Spousal rights & recognition. She couldn't have that under Rule #2 "Never f*** anyone who stands to lose less than you do,"

Not so with the one I jst lost to cancer. Cooked in a camp made shitloads more than I did. Not political at all, was hard not to talk over her head Didn't share the same music, or movie interests. But in every other way, best I ever had. I'd give her whatever she wanted, and felt she didn't ask enough. Always doing little things for me. Accepted people, loved 'family' and knew the difference between when money was tight and being poor.

You're with them because you love them, and there is no sense or logic to love.
