So if someone was to wait until 18 (as opposed to current age of 16) to have this done.. there is no chance that they will live?

There is a high chance of death.

There's never no chance of living. People survived the Holodomor, it was still a genocide.

By the way, it's also important to remember that this isn't happening in a bubble. This is happening along with book bans on anything LGBT as well as banning trans people from using public bathrooms. This is another part of genocide. The target group is pushed out of participating in society. Even before the Nazi Party rounded up the Jews, there were tons of laws restricting them from participating in German culture.

Might have gone a tiny bit red from the laughing :)

But i love how you have to try to make yourself feel better by pretending that i'm mad - i guess when you eff up and you've got no defense it's all you can do :)

You must be a blackadder fan - every post you make you sound like Meltchett: "If nothing else works, a total pig-headed unwillingness to look facts in the face will see me through."LOLOL!

Do you know what overcompensation is? When you OD on the smilies and pretend to be laughing, you kind of just give yourself away. ?‍♀️ It's like the anti-groomers that end up being pedos, which I'm sure you're also familiar with.

Really, you're mad that you couldn't name any reactionary takes that I've had.

in other news.. was in the SF Bay area from friday to monday. Only saw one mention of trans-anything.. How can that be? It was a flag at an Amnesty international booth at a concert. As for trans-people.. I may have seen one or a few.. there was no one in my view that was explicitly trans. But a person can't possibly get away from this kind of thing..

So you weren't looking and you weren't doing anything that should be trans related - and yet you still noticed something.  How many 'heterosexual" signs did you see?  None? Hmmmm.

You really kind of proved the point.  You couldnt' even get away for the weekend without having to think about trans issues at least once.

As far as you know. The whole point is for them to blend in of course. But - as you noted even tho you weren't trying you did see 'trans' promotional signage in the form of a flag.

So there you go.

and If there is one place in the world that I would expect to see something.. it would be at an amnesty international booth. Oh... to see Amnesty International at a rock concert.. that can't be. No way..  Before you look dumb.. I went to the rock concert for the music and not the extraneous noise.

As for heterosexual.. nothing that used that word but plenty of things that promoted heterosexual sex. It is a large city in case you did not know that.

So one instance in the span of 70 hours in a very liberal area.. This instance lasted 3 or 4 seconds at most. But,.. I can't get away from it. It was omnipresent no matter where I went or what I did... hahhahahaa. Just imagine if I went in any direction from reno other than west... the odds that I would see anything are abysmally small but a person can't get away from it..

And? Bottom line is you saw it.

Your whole argument here is that you're not constantly exposed to trans issues but in reality you just admitted you couldn't go a weekend without it.

Heterosexual sex? Or just sex. Bet you didn't see anything that 'promoted' hetero sex specifically.

And nothing that was a hetero symbol or the like? Hmmmmmm

Yeah. You couldn't even go that long without it. It's constant.

Diabetes is a serious issue affecting tens of millions - i go months without hearing about that.  Cancer? Brutally serious. I go weeks without seeing a single ad or news paper article. Sometimes months.

Herero right? You almost never hear about it at all.

Trans people who make up a teeny tiny fraction of the population and who already have lots of rights?  Can't make it through the weekend.

You may have felt you were disproving the point - in fact you proved it nicely.

And people are fed up with it.

in the definition of most (and you if you were being honest)... 3 or 4 seconds in the span of 70 hours does not qualify as constant. Do you know what I saw the most of... ? Artificial Intelligence.

Oh.. and get this, there was nothing else around the flag.. No literature, no signage. You had to know that the pink striped flag was for trans. I looked it on my phone between bands. So for 69 hours and 56 seconds... I never saw anything but could not get away from it..

Yes, it does.  Sorry.

You want to pretend it doesnt' but it does.  It's constant. I see fewer macdonald's commercials than i do trans rights stuff.

people feel constantly bombarded by it and they're sick of it. You can lie to yourself but you just proved the point.

Yes, honestly. We use ChatGPT which is artificial intelligence. Using this 3 or 4 times a day for a total of 20 minutes each work day would qualify as constant.. 4 seconds out of 252.000 does not.

4 seconds out 252,000 is not constant.. Being in NV.. do you know what i see at a much higher rate than 4 of 252,000 seconds... Casinos, restaurants, and gun retail. A bit oversensitive you are or you go looking for it and then complain about it.

if you use it at work every day thats constant , even if it's only for 4 seconds.

Sorry bud -  you're trying to win on a technicality and it's just not happening.  People are constantly being bombarded with trans agenda crap. That's a simple truth and you can lie or you can accept - but you can't change the reality.

The other reality is people are sick of it.

So stores and businesses.  Yes.  We constantly see stores and businesses in this world. Absolutely true.

We also constantly see trans stuff.  People like stores because people use stores.  People are getting sick of trans stuff.

Nobody needs to look for it. It's everywhere - if you read the papers it's there, if you listen to the news it' there, if you drop your kids off at school it's likely there,  if you HAVE kids in school you'll be dealing with it if you follow parliament it'll show up, if you EVER go on social media it's flooded with it - its effing pervasive.

I imagine somewhere there's someone who's so disconnected they aren't exposed regularly but i also imagine they have long scraggly hair with a bone in it.

So quit trying to pretend otherwise and get back to the point of the discussion.  Attempting to debate on technicalities and the like is beneath us.

Constant... by its very nature implies repetition. One inconspicuous (flag with no supporting signage) instance in 70 hours is not repetition. One is not plural.

I do have school aged kids. 3rd grade and Kindergarten to be specific  and yet not a single mention of it.

politicians and their supporters are curious creatures. They are constantly looking for things to be outraged about. Daily life and what I see on this forum are night and day. on the forum.. the world is coming to an end. What was once good/perfect is now being torn down. Daily life... nothing of this sort.. not even close.

if you take ANY instance in isolation for anything it's singular.  But - the fact is you were exposed to trans issues before that and after that. And that's where we get the 'constantly' part from.

On the weekend it was a flag, yesterday and today it was social media (waves!) tomorrow it could any number of newspaper articles the day after your kid's school may have an issue, then you might find it's a bill in Parliament next -etc etc etc.

It's constant.

Give it time. In the meantime you'll get it when you travel to san francisco, when you open a paper, when you drink a beer, when you come here - it's constant.

LOL - kidding of course :)

It's much easier to ignore the issues in daily life.  But sure - the internet tends to be a place where people discuss their concerns and issues, so it's hardly a shock that you see more of it here. But - it's there in daily life too, it's just easier to keep your head down and not pay attention.

I mean did you actually look for and count the number of homeless people you passed on your drive to work today? Or did you just head in and not think about it? Does that mean there's not homeless people in your city? Hmmmm.

Homeless people... Reno has quite the problem with them (more so than other cities out west) . I have laid this out in the past. This issue I see everyday.. hence constant.

I just traveled to San Francisco and the only trans item that I saw was the flag at the Amnesty International booth. If there is one place on earth that I expect to see such a thing, it would be at an Amnesty international booth. However, spent two full days in downtown San Francisco and never saw anything.

So you DO see problems in the real world.  I fear sir your previous statement claiming you do not  may have been in error then ;)

So you couldn't even get through a weekend without being exposed to it.

Again you're desperately trying to suggest that somehow this means you're not constantly exposed to it - but it proves the opposite.

I don't even know where you're trying to go with this. It's painfully obvious people area being bombarded with trans issues and such vastly and grossly out of proportion to their share of the population and people are getting sick of it.

one instance is not constant.. no matter how much you whine/complain. I could play your silly game and whine about how I could not get through a whole weekend without being exposed to advertisements about AI and high tech. I saw at least a dozen bilboards on our trek from San Jose to San Francisco about this topic.

There are some issues that are constant.. homeless people, dry climate, high home prices and some that are not.. trans people. You can keep on engaging in your hyperbolic ways and I will go about life. There is no use in having my radar up for things that are rare if not nonexistent.

Cool story. IF you hear about it every other day without intending to then yes - you can say you're constantly being bombarded with the subject.

You think trans people come and go? Are you insane? they're as constant as homeless people.  Do you think they just take a week off from being trans?  You've lost your mind.

Lie to yourself if you must - but you already proved my point for me.

And your kind of attitude is why people are getting fed up with it. DIshonest, unreasoned and you get insulting when you don't get your way - that's trans people as well. And people are sick of it.

Ask bud lite about that.

Of course it is. As i said - you were exposed the week before you left, you were exposed on the weekend, you are exposed now. It's constant. Just cutting a small timeslice and pretending it never happened outside of that is simply dishonest.

Well if you CHOOSE to use it you're not bombarded - you're just constantly using something.

Lets put it this way. Lets say your favorite cereal is count chocula.  You eat it every day by choice, Are you being bombarded? No.  Are you constantly eating it for breakfast? Yep.

Now - lets say that a jehovah's witness shows up uninvited every morning as well and explains his view of the world to you. You don't like it and you don't want to hear it but he won't stop.

Are you being bombarded constantly by JW stuff? Yep.

Show me where i explicitly said you did say that. Anywhere. Go on.
Very dishonest of you

You said:

There are some issues that are constant.. homeless people, dry climate, high home prices and some that are not.. trans people.

You literally claimed that trans people are not constant.  Compared to homeless people who are constant.

Well - what do you think happens to the trans people? Why aren't they a consistant issue? Where do they vanish to? They're real people, they're there 24 7 just like the homeless.

It was an ignorant thing to say.

And lets get real - you known you've lost this so you're desperately trying to find something to be fake outraged about. Grow the f*ck up.

This is the kind of thing you'll see in Canada if the Trudeau, Hardner and Antifa crowd have their way. A young girl pushed to have a double mastectomy because she started thinking she might be a boy. No therapy. No psychiatric treatment. Come right in and we'll put you on drugs and take off your breasts!
