CBC has done some useful things in the past the problem is, as of now there's no way to know what it will spit out, some investigation of value or woke propaganda. And that's 100% on taxpayer dime. Do we need it? Can we, citizens, decide what we need here? Only two answers possible. So, we shall see. CBC has received billions of taxpayer dollars, and they have a 30-year head start on other TV networks that started up privately. It's time to sink or swim. It's the general premise of Canada, that is the bureaucracy running itself limited only by some conventions, guidelines, codes all on paper and so in fact and reality, nothing. Then it will always go over the board, not because of its flaws but because it doesn't have one, wouldn't even know where it is. How hard is it to get that a power without limits and effective controls will be abused, always and 100%, 2 + 2 of social experience not to mention, science? How is it possible to never give it a thought in closing on two centuries?
