As predicted, AHS and the Alberta government acted illegally in their arrest of Calgary Pastor, Artur Pawlowski. The province will be forced to rescind all tickets, pay back whatever was paid out in fines, and will be forced to pay damages.

Thought I read they put him in prison with a guy who was known to be dangerous as a cell mate. Once the prisoners found out who he was and why he was there, they were amazed. They couldn't understand what he was doing there. Prisoners respected him. No one gave him a hard time, but the guards practically tortured him. Many came to him for guidance and prayer.By the time he left he was a hero there.  I kid you not.

You are right, we don’t even need to go there, there is plenty to point out that’s already illegal.

But with no one pressing the issue from the opposite side of the aisle, he gets away with it by delaying and obfuscating in the courts. Same as with SNC, not transparent at all. 

The courts have the power to end this, but now we see how they were shut down, their operations were suspended. By the same emergency order in a way, it seems.

So that they removed the checks and balances, as it were. Anti-democratic action. But was it intentional?

In any case no one did anything to try and fix that issue. It was to the government’s advantage to maintain that level of power.
