Judge tosses charges against a Calgary protest organizer

Recommended Posts

Yet another blow to the fraudulent "health restrictions" which were used to target peaceful protests against covid mandates. Calgary judge has tossed out charges against a protest organizer, stating they were allowed to protest mandates.

So looks like us crazy conspiracy theorists were right about mandates targeting rally organizers being ridiculous

Somebody obviously didn't get the memo form the PMO. No doubt he'll be doxxed.

Too little, too late. Justice not in time, far beyond reasonable time is a joke and parody of justice. And justice gone down the drain now can't do anything except useless posturing. Until there's an effective way to make the bureaucracy to pay for its overreach; transgressions; and violations out of own, not our pocket there will be no hope for a meaningful change. None: now patent and factual.

It was a charge from December 2020. Long before the shit really hit the fan.

He was charged with holding a private rally but it was thrown out because the public was invited thereby making it a public and legal protest.

Old charge and wrong charge and rightfully thrown out. Wrong charge.

The fact that he was charged criminally was still a deterrent to future lawful gatherings.

"Let's just charge him criminally now. Eventually he can fight his way out of this in court. No harm, no foul."

There will always be lawful gatherings. Here in Ottawa, there is at least one a week.

He was charged under a incorrect offence and was let off. As I said, rightfully so without the show business of the trucker debacle.

Over a year went by with many lessons learned by the police so, we will see if other charges get off so easily or off at all.

Sadly he's not the only one who faced frivolous charges for exercising constitutional rights to protest

Get current. His charge was a year and half ago. Poorly charged and he got off.

Thanks to the truckers, more diligence in the charges have been initiated.
