He moved the dates to coincide with 9/11. That means that it happened after Afghanistan's campaigning season. That meant that 9/11 was celebrated with China and Iran as a triumph of Taliban over the US instead of just another 9/11, only with America's troops at home instead of a bunch of Americans STRANDED in Afghanistan.
