Cannucklehead Posted October 15, 2021 Report Posted October 15, 2021 (edited) So lately the "let's go Brandon" and f*** Joe Biden thing has gained a lot of momentum. I was wondering if its a response to DeNiro at the Tony's or is it something else? Out of curiosity I did some digging and found a song from 2006 called "F*** George Bush", earliest I could find on someone saying F*** a president. I’m a conservative not a Republican, but from what I’ve seen the chant started spontaneously at college football games and grew from there. Until the NBC sports person started the let’s go Brandon version of it. Btw, there is a great new Let’s go Brandon song on ITunes that’s blowing up! I think you’ll see it played at the convention in 2024 as well as hear the chant by the crowd. I think it’s hilarious! ? Quote
sharkman Posted October 17, 2021 Report Posted October 17, 2021 I was curious about this myself. Whatever the genesis, it’s become a major form of protest. Quote
WestCanMan Posted October 21, 2021 Report Posted October 21, 2021 We need to start a "Let's go Pluto" chant here in Canada. Bug-juice is the new Kool-aid. Ex-Canadian since April 2025

Once upon a time "cool" was defined by what people like de Niro, Clooney, "Hollywood" did. No longer. ===== Nowadays, there's Netflix. Edited November 5, 2021 by August1991 Quote
