The Spanish flu killed about 2-3% of the people on earth, and not everyone got it. That means that the infected death rate was much higher than 2-3%. Healthy 28 yr olds were one of the hardest hit groups.

I don't care if it takes until Sep/Oct 2021. Compensation, lockdowns and public safety measures as required should remain in place until such time as this is either vaccinated away or there's a treatment.  Further to that is the likelihood that millions of jobs have been lost forever in which case we'll need a guaranteed annual income to prevent a cultural revolution.  And you can also forget about doing away with laws or regulations intended to protect the environment or mitigate climate change. I'm pretty sure your ilk will be advocating for 'opening' all that up too.

I posted it because it's a thing people will be saying now in response to the push for a mail-in election. I believe mail-in elections in November are ordered in Pelosi's most recent "stimulus" bill.

And when people do start discussing this you're going to need a better argument than The Donald's a big, fat, poopy head.

Personally, I don't know all the arguments yet.

Me too.  Of course, the assumption is that if they're aimed at Democrats, they are created by Republicans.

Maybe they just have more time on their hands now that churches are closed.  Or maybe they are just worrywarts.

I do know why it isn't.  It isn't because Democrats are more likely to indulge in voter fraud than anyone else.

Enough frivolity though.  How likely do you think voter fraud by anyone sufficient to actually have an effect on an election is?  Even with mail in ballots?

Wouldn't surprise me if that was true though. I know the Spieles convictions for voter fraud are true. Even the leftist fact checking site Snopes admits it. They tried to make excuses but ultimately they had to admit it.
