I would support a carbon tax if all the money went to a multi-million prize fund for environmental research.

For example, I would offer $1 Billion prize to the scientists who come up with a battery, that's substantially more efficient than lithium ion.

I would offer $100 million to the scientists who come up with biodegradable renewable plastics.

I would offer $100 million to the scientists who design ultra cheap solar shingles.

 

What good is a carbon tax, if you're not going to use the money to spur innovation? That just sounds like a big scam.

Competition, spurs innovation and good ideas.

I don't want the money going to useless bureaucrats. I want it going to the smartest research scientists in Canada, that could revolutionize the world.

Canada could become world leaders in battery research.

It is the $600 million that Morneau promised (and started to deliver to CBC) for the "independence" of the media that caused that...that and most faculties offering journalism degrees being let's just say "left of center".

Indeed. The women in the 3rd world should all be forced to stop breeding like flies. Limit them to just one child each for the next twenty years or more. It is not the people living in the Western world that is creating the problem, if there really is a global climate crisis, it is the the people that live in the 3rd world that is creating the problem. This is something that no one will dare speak about nor touch. But our useless politicians have the answer for it. Just keep bringing in as many people into Western countries with as many as they can bring in from the 3rd world so then those in the 3rd world can have more children who will later be brought to the Western world. It's a vicious circle. 

All Western countries in the world are being buried by the amount of 3rd world refugees being brought into their countries. The only countries in the world that are saving the 3rd world from mass starvation is the Western world. We either send them food or they immigrate. It will always be a win-win for those living in the 3rd world.  But I guess saying that makes me a racist now. So, what else is new. Come up with a solution and plan and one will get called a racist. Call them racists and that should just shut down those western white nationalist racists, eh? Sorry, but for some WN that does not work anymore. Some of us will continue to tell it like it is. Works for me!

There have been many great people who have invented many great things like a car being able to run on water. But they were either bought off or just put out of business. Any great invention that someone can come up with that will make the world a better place to live in tends to get bought out by the globalists. If one does not take the money then they will be given an offer that they cannot refuse. 

I remember watching the Dragons Den one time and one of the dragons called Kevin O'leary told a guy that had a great invention but that if he tried to go forward with his invention some people in high places could make life very difficult for him. Kevin was appearing to be quite truthful in what he was saying to the guy. Needless to say, no dragon bought in for his invention. As to whether this guy tried to get his invention going anyway, we do not know. He is either lying around on a beach after being bought off and surrounded by women or else there was that other offer, if you get my drift. The globalists hate competition. They want to own it all for themselves as a way of controlling we the people. It's tough for anyone who wants to make the world a better place for all because there are some not so nice people out there that do not want that to happen. They want us all to live in misery and poverty and even slavery. Aw well.

And there are still so many foolish Canadians out there that think that kid Trudeau is doing a fine job. Indeed he is alright. The kid is doing a fine job of shafting we the people every day. It is very clear to see that the alt-left Canadian media is not a free media anymore. It has now been bought and now owned by a leftist communist dictator in Ottawa who has no love for Canada or Canadians nor freedom. Liberals are obviously anti-Climate as their plan to increase immigration to 330 K per year  which brings in many more people into our country  would increase the overall emissions that are produced in every way.   If the Liberals are so committed to the Climate why would they be doing this?
