Nothing, aside from laughing at them for their Canadian silliness. Silliest Country on Earth.

Upper Canada enjoys the protection of the British Crown still.

I am fawning over Muh Bianca too.

God save the Queen. God bless Romania and the good people of Mississauga.  I didn't like living there, but more power too them.

Your fawning is not grating like the media fawning. Some fawning is warranted, you get a pass for fawning in good taste.

Rugged Individual.  Lovely young lady.

So classy, so poised, so precocious, so perky, with nerves of steel.

Romanian Warrior Woman. What's not to love?

No one talks about her almost compared to the blond loser on Instagram from Westmount who doesn't even speak French, Eugénie Bouchard,  who said she could have won the last championship, while she actually lost her last 6 games. The media is only interested in Bouchard for her ass shots.

Congrats for her prize, and to beat Serena. Extremely hard working, honest lady, with a lot of talent.

Indeed, Bouchard is fake news, Bianca is the real deal.

I think Bianca is cuter too, I'm not into blondes.

She not only beat Serena, she chased Serena from the court in Toronto, then chased her down to New York and beat her in straight sets.

From 157th in the world, to top ten, in a year, beating the GOAT twice in a row with authority to top it all off.

It's Romania.  Romanians are crazy for their sports, and tennis in one of their favorites

I have a friend Romanian doctor, he started his daughter playing tennis when she was 3 years old.

Korshkov is looking good.   Skating is NHL level.  He gets around quick, went out and threw a hard body check on his first shift.

Tyson Barrie looking pretty good, not great in his own end but no worse than Gardiner.

Seems more physical than Gardiner, a little more aggressive in front of the net.

Marner blocks a shot in a preseason game, yikes.

Barrie still playing the body, going into the corners hard.

Then passes to Spezza who promptly coughs it up and then screens his own goalie, Spezza looking meh.

Barrie and Muzzin have chemistry as expected, they're the only thing gelling for the Leafs right now.

Korshkov still playing hard, finishing all his checks, now he's got himself on the PP to be the net front presence.

Jordan Schmaltz isn't great, bob, but he's not terrible, doesn't look out of place, looks like an NHL player, looks as good if not better than Borgman actually.

Bracco goes to the net well, rings one off the post, doesn't look out of place neither.

Bianca is cuter than Eugenie, agreed. Brunette's FTW.

Tyson Barrie is better defensively than Gardiner, while also being better offensively as well. Gardiner is a poor man's Barrie, Barrie still going to make mistakes that turn into goals that piss you off, like Gardiner, just less often with more offensive production to offset the negatives as well.

J-Gards does one thing well, which is skate the puck out of trouble and get it up the ice, more often than not. Steady Eddie when he doesn't make the rare but glaring mistake.

With Muzzin - Barrie, I think it will be more like Rielly - Hainsey, Muzzin will be the Steady Eddie and Barrie will have the green light to go like Mo.

For what Barrie brings in terms of scoring, Babs will allow risks to be taken, so long as they are reasonable risks and not just throwing the puck away.

J-Gards is actually being replaced by J-Muzzin.    Barrie is a second Reilly, replacing Zaitsev.

That's the way to handle Barrie, if you try to keep him on leash, he just isn't the same player. Bednar knows, he tried to keep him on a leash his first in Colorado and it backfired with Barrie's worst year ever, so he let him off the leash and got way more out of him as a result. Babcock would be wise to do the same.

The Leafs iced the Marlies in Detroit last night, except for the top D-pairing which was Rasmus Sandin and Martin Marinicin.

Sandin is breaking out already, he was great, the Leafs best player by far, he  was running everything out there, he's passed Travis Dermott on the depth chart I bet.

Martin Marincin was also outstanding, the Leafs have internally developed him into a solid bottom pair option who can play either side and who is gelling with Sandin.

Sandin TOI;  30 plus minutes

As much as it can be gleaned from preseason, the Buds look ready to rock.

Seems to be an appropriate sense of urgency, the Big Four, the Top Four, and Freddie Andersen, all looking in mid season form.

Supporting cast looks good too;.

No more excuses, let's get at er,  no more MBCC, every point counts.
