UNRWA Funding Restored - What's with THAT?

The Trudeau government is funding an organization whose members include neo-Nazis, anti-Semites, and public figures who openly call for violence against Jews.

Last Friday, the government announced it would send $50 million of taxpayer money to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA), an organization that is supposed to provide much-needed social services to Palestinian people.

Operating under the auspices of the United Nations, UNRWA has become a rogue agency. It fails to uphold basic UN principles, refuses oversight and due diligence over its spending, and continues its close and overlapping relationship with the Islamist terror group Hamas.

UNRWA has a well-documented and sordid history of supporting terrorism.

Since at least the early 2000s, UNRWA has used its operations as a cover for Palestinian militants, using UN ambulances to smuggle weapons to fighters and hosting terrorist meetings in UN buildings.

After a UN ambulance driver was caught carrying weapons and admitted to working for Hamas, UNRWA promised to change.

In 2014, however, UNRWA was once again caught aiding and facilitating Hamas terrorism. International journalists filmed Hamas terrorists launching rockets beside UN buildings and storing weapons in UNRWA buildings in Gaza................................................................................

Sadly, the problems with UNRWA run even deeper than its ties to Hamas.

As reported by the independent organization UN Watch, UNWRA staff members have been caught posting praise to Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany.

“Despite its claims to neutrality, if you see their regular social media posts on Twitter and Facebook, it’s clear UNRWA has become the largest and most energetic anti-Israel agency,” said UN Watch Executive Director Hillel Neuer.

“UN Watch research has exposed dozens and dozens of UNRWA teachers and staffers celebrating the terrorist kidnapping of Israeli teenagers, cheering rockets being fired at Israeli civilian centres, endorsing various forms of violence, erasing Israel from the map, praising Hitler and posting his photo, and posting overtly anti-Semitic videos, caricatures, and statements,” said Neuer......................................................................

Canada cut all funding to UNRWA under the previous Conservative government, but under Trudeau, Canada has reinstated its funding to the tune of least $75 million since 2016.

It appears that Trudeau is willing to overlook UNRWA’s grotesque behaviour and reinforce the standard that Palestinian leaders can get away with violence, terrorism and anti-Semitism.

Pffff. What's 75 million tax dollars anyway? Peanuts. Canadians are so bloody rich that we have to do something with all of our money. Thank gawd that we have politically correct leftist politicians in Canada who have no problem trying to blow some of those dollars. My wallet is bulging with too many $100 bills.

it's too bad that those 9/11 planes did not miss their target and blew up the UN building by mistake. Just saying.

UNRWA hides missiles in their schools. Now, I can understand that if you grew-up with Iranian missiles inside your school you would find that normal...

Because Trump stopped funding UNRWA(smart move)the UN have fallen behind by 200 million dollars in funding. So this dear prime mistake of ours is trying to make up for the shortfall. What a wonderful guy, eh? Take your tax dollars and help the rest of the world. I don't know about you but I am getting sick and tired of this socialist/communist bull shit funding scam of taking our Canadian tax dollars and giving it away free to the rest of the world. When the hell are Canadians ever going to get it. I don't think that they will ever get as long as they keep listening too the leftist liberal fake media like the CBC, CTV or Global. They are a part of the problem. 

And according to Maxine Bernier of the People's Party Trudeau has been sending billions, I repeat billions, of our Canadian tax dollars to other countries to help them fight climate change. And then we have to wonder and ask why as to why Canada is in such deep debt and in deep trouble. Boy, I sure do wish that I could get my hands into that barrel of billions.

He's spending OUR money to glorify his personal standing. We're all suckers for voting for him and he's made Canada into a sucker nation - kowtowing to an unelected body of socialists that creates "guilt committees" to feed a pliant Western media.

Both his old man and kid Trudeau have just about destroyed what was once a great British/European nation. The only thing that can save Canada now before it is too late is to get a real and true conservative party into power who will eliminate and abolish just about everything that the Trudeau's put their signatures too without our permission and not in our name. All Canadians must stop this insanity of allowing our dear politically correct leftist so called leaders to be throwing away our tax dollars willy-nilly towards socialist/communist programs and agendas and catering to special interest minority groups that are being given the power to destroy the culture of this not so great anymore nation called Canada. Taxme - You're not the "extreme" anymore. Maybe a bit excitable - but you're just expressing what many Canadians are starting to see. What our schools and media have failed to do is warn us how devastating socialism/Marxism/Communism has been. You only have to look at North Korea, the old USSR, East Germany and Cuba to understand. Their systems were - and are - so bad that they have to lock people in. They should teach it in schools - teach how Socialism - the Utopian attempt to make everyone equal - takes away the natural drive of the human race to better themselves - to want more for their families. Inevitably, it results in a population that says "why should I work when everything in given to me" even though that "everything" is far less than I should be able to get. It's a sick system - and inevitably, the ones in power oppress the population - to MAKE them work in all the government controlled industries.....and like all the aforementioned failed experiments - leads people to lives of unfulfilled misery - except for those in positions of privilege. Schools should teach this - the sweet smell of equality leads to the very lowest of common denominators - ruled by tyrants. With Capitalism - which has survived for over 500 years....the last burden to be thrown off is the poison of grossly, extreme individual wealth - and the solutions are well within our grasp. It's sickening to think that some people still think that Socialism is a viable alternative - in spite of the proven detritus of human misery that always leaves behind. Winston Churchill had it completely right - Capitalism is the worst - except for all the others.

And I just learned today on The Rebel that the federal government received $20 billion in extra revenue and then immediately went a blew it all.  This Trudeau leftist liberal government is all about blowing taxpayer's tax dollars instead of trying to cut taxes. Politicians appear to be nothing more than a bunch of thieves and continue to show contempt for the taxpayer's tax dollars. As an example, there is this pro bicycle Mayor of Vancouver who thinks that more bicycle bike lanes are more important than trying to save tax dollars.

Sadly, for Canadians there are thousands of politician fools like that guy who are being allowed to run and ruin this country. The saving of the environment an diversity has become the number one issues and priority with the majority of our Canadian? politicians.The best system of government is having a real and true conservative government that values freedom of speech, believes in less taxes and less government. Sadly, we see today that Canada has become just another liberal/socialist/communist country with no end in site for ending it's tyranny. Just my opinion of course.
