What if Trump invaded Canada

I wonder what would happen if we decided to take over Canada by force.

You guys are already 90 percent brainwashed with American propaganda and have no real standing military. 

The opportunity to install a dictator ship in Canada ran by Alex Jones is too good an opportunity to pass.

Lol, they have the conservative party, loyal lapdogs.  

If they invaded, obviously we'd fight back, we'd lose.  The EU and world would condemn USA and China would become the global superpower as the USA gets completely isolated politically, diplomatically and economically.  Also they'd then add on a bunch of "states" aka provinces, who are left wing and liberal marked by massive ongoing riots.  The costs would be terribly high and Canada has a high rate of gun ownership.

Given the rate of inter-marriage and international families between Canada and the USA, Trump would probably face a rising anti-fascist resistance within his own country too since in many cases, killing a Canadian would be killing an American's family member or friend.

I don't think the U.S. Armed Forces are stupid. Occupation of Canada would be fairly painless at the start. However, it wouldn't take long to find out Canadian resisters would not be as nice and polite as the Viet Cong, the Taliban or ISIL. Canadians would suddenly have access to the 2nd Amendment and ...well it isn't going to happen. The most important reason it won't happen is Americans are wonderful people. European reaction against the invasion would pale to insignificance compared to the wrath of the American public.

You wouldn't even install dictatorships in shithole countries like Afghanistan and Iraq. Which means you'd have to give 35 million Canadians the vote, and virtually none of them would vote Republican.

So no, I don't think the Republican party would stand for all  those new Democratic voters.

Ummmm....no...plenty of dual-citizen Canadians already have a U.S. vote and a minority do vote Republican.

Accordingly, in this fantasy scenario, some Canadians would vote Republican.
