Several anti-Christian sites had given up a list of contradictions.  Some of you probably have one or two that you think are contradictions.

Let's talk about them.  Although sometimes the answer isn't that simple, let's try to clear up the misconceptions - because that's usually what they are.

There are no contradictions in the Bible.

I don't think you can call Wikipedia an anti-Christian site unless you call facts anti-Christian.

How about two versions of Genesis and two sets of commandments ?  Doesn't that strike the objective observer as a 'draft' mode accidentally included in the final copy ?

I'm not talking about wikipedia, Michael.

Cite a contradiction in the Bible!

If you guys don't know of any specific contradiction....maybe I'll just have to get some from cited "contradictions" in those sites, and refute them here.

There are some on that page.  Various versions of the Genesis story, different versions of the commandments.

If you're lazy to engage and cite specific contradictions, then there's nothing to discuss between you and I.

You're afraid to make a mistake in citing, Michael?

I've always been curious about dinosaurs.  Seriously.  There is no doubt they existed, but can you imagine having a pair of velociraptors on the Ark?  How, exactly, did that whole thing go down?

Why the obsession and emphasis on finding water on far-distant planets, or stars or asteroids........when the presence of any yet-unknown chemicals is possible?

Because, evolutionists have this persistent hope that the presence of water might accomodate the origin and evolution of life elsewhere.

Nobody asked any of that: I asked...Why is God making new stars and planets?

Which relates to: Metallicity...which I feel you have no understanding of. So you ignore it out of ignorance.

Thus...what is Metallicity and how does it relate to Earth and our Type G star?

How is that a contradiction in the Bible?  What Biblical verse is contradicted?  Explain.

And?

What's new stars got to do with it?  Explain.

How is that a contradiction in the Bible?

Is Genesis incorrect or correct?

Yes, it is correct.  However, it doesn't say if the days are to be taken literally or not.

The point being: The Sun...a typical G-type star...didn't come in the beginning of nuthin'. It's a Population I Metal Rich Star...which means other stars had to die in spectacular supernovae creating elements beyond the basic primordial hydrogen to allow our star to be born. That's pretty much Lithium and beyond on the periodic table...

As well, new stars are being born from the remnants of dead stars as we type our words. God hits "New Game" a lot...for us humans being the be-all-end-all of the Universe. My opinion...lol.

The Bible was written when humans had no clue as to how stars work. Now we know.

If you don't understand something, you ignore it.

Metallicity is important....what is it? Just the basics...

Why don't you explain it.  What's metallicity got to do with the Bible?  Where's the contradiction?
