Logic would state we shouldn't be normalizing misogynistic waredrobe practices from any religious text. So why is it racist to say that the Hijab is anti-woman? Quote

Just stating that lust is more than a the actual act of sex. You get situations where kids can claim they're virgins because they haven't had intercourse. If you're looking at sexual sin, if you've thought someone is hot, you've sinned already. Which is why the make it pretty clear, living the perfect life is impossible without Jesus. I think many judge goth or emo fashion statements and not appealing. But they aren't being forced to dress like that. Quite the contrary, they're often dressing like that to rebel against societal norms. Ditto when people have weird piercing and large tattoos. Quote

Well then we should criticize those people. Regardless we're falling back into that habit of saying that the problem with Islam is only with the fringe. There are huge Islamic Armies. Even if that was just a fringe, there's still a concerning cohort of Muslims that believe in other ideas that we wouldn't accept from other religions, Sharia being the most obvious example. Quote
