The only logical answer to such thing is, let's erase those israeli bastards from the surface of earth. Lucky for them, you are too insignificant to be taken seriously.

The americans will always protect Israel but, not at all cost. The message is very clear. They have enough of this shitty attitude. Israel has to stop. The americans were ok with Israel taking the irremediable presence advantage in Jérusalem but, not a total ethnic cleansing like they are slowly doing.

From a strategic point of view ethnic cleansing would at least make sense. But that is not what they're doing. They're absorbing more territory full of Muslims, while their own Israeli Muslim population continues to grow by leaps and bounds. Meanwhile the only Jewish population in Israel which is growing fast are the Haradi, who don't work, pay taxes, serve in the military or even necessarily believe in Israel. Israel is looking on a demographic time bomb worse than any country on Earth, and not all that far in the future either. Probably within two or three decades.

Winning a war does not grant you the right to eject people off the land they are living for several generations. It's not a board game, it's real life.

I think the israel leaders are very stupid. If there are no more palestinians in israel and they clean up the place. It will just increase the will of Israel haters to just nuke the place. They won't even have to sacrifice any of their own. It's about time that Israel starts to learn to get along and that is also the opinion of alot of israelians. Except the extremists, as usual.

Tell that to Germany...after losing a war they started. Where's Prussia?

In more 'modern' times...where's South Viet-Nam? Oh yeah...invaded and ethnically cleansed by North Viet-Nam who was then rewarded by the UN for doing so. This AFTER the Six Day War...ten years after...

Israel would be infinitely better off if it could live in peace with its neighbors. I'm not saying that's necessarily possible given the degree of Jew hatred among its neighbors, but adding Jews to the West bank in a slow drip fashion is only making those enemies happy. It gives them a great continuing bat to beat Israel with, and helps goad their populations into glaring at Israel and not the incompetent dictators currently in charge of the Arab world.

Sooner or later one of those frenzied religious maniacs is going to get hold of nukes, either from North Korea or Pakistan or wherever, and set them off in Israel. Israel really needs to do something to calm things.

Say (O Muhammad SAW to the people of the Scripture): "Shall I inform you of something worse than that, regarding the recompense from Allah: those (Jews) who incurred the Curse of Allah and His Wrath, those of whom (some) He transformed into monkeys and swines, those who worshiped Taghut (false deities); such are worse in rank (on the Day of Resurrection in the Hell-fire), and far more astray from the Right Path (in the life of this world)."

Islam needs to calm down...not the Jews.

Israel won. To the victor, the spoils. If the Arabs had won any of their wars of extermination, there would have been another Holocaust.

Basically, what you are saying is, the only way to stop israel for colonizing the most occupied small piece of land in the world, is to start a war against Israel and make them lose. I am pretty this is what is acknowledge in several islamic minds.

Israel dismantled all of the settlements in Gaza and would do so again if it had confidence that the new Palestinian state could ensure peace. The problem in this conflict rests entirely with the Palestinians who are too divided to honour the terms of any settlement.

Except Israel isn't honoring their end, either.  Peace needs both sides, that's true, but it starts with one.

The credit of the UNSC resolution denouncing the continued armed robbery of Palestine goes to New Zealand, Malaysia, Venezuela and Senegal to have initiated it after the corrupt leadership of Sisi's Egypt buckled under pressure from Israel and Trump to table it--

The credit of this resolution representing the global condemnation of the Israeli settler colony goes to the 14 out of 15 member nations of UNSC who let the will of their nations be echoed at the UN--as evident in the spontaneous applause in the chamber: that beautiful music is the global cry for justice in Palestine--

No credit whatsoever goes to the only abstaining vote from the US--but Obama did just receive a middle finger from Netanyahu only weeks after he had sent 38 billion US taxpayers' money to the apartheid state to build more bombs over the next decade and steal more of Palestine--

Israel is in violation of countless UN resolutions-- the ones that US has not been able to veto --this one would be yet another indication that these colonialist thieves have no shame in front of global community --will continue to steal the rest of Palestine until soon they are outnumbered by Palestinians--

The significance of this particular resolution is the further global recognition and the boost it gives to the BDS as the single most significant non-violent act of civil disobedience against the Israeli settler colony apartheid garrison state--

It is altogether a beautiful news for the cause of peace and justice in Palestine--for all its inhabitants: Jews, Christians, Muslims, or otherwise --

Why would you love a nation that is committing ethnic cleansing and land theft? Personally that's against my sense of morality and ethics.

But you live in one that did, according to many.  Even your name...

Maybe I misunderstood you. You brought up instances of what you consider equivalencies to what Israeli is doing in defence  for their actions.. Did you not?. Clear it up for me.

You did misunderstand me.  I just thought it cute that a person with the name Canadianjim would bang on about ethnic cleansing and land theft. (given current thinking on the subject.  I have no personal views)

As for your original argument, you mixed up a race/religion with a nation, so I thought I'd best ignore that.

Palestinians do in fact reside in Palestine which is a nation.

Interesting that the US refused to veto this new resolution, considering the US always throws the veto vote for Israel. Apparently the facts allowed the US to abstain meaning, Israel is going to face some problems with the settlements.

They way I see it, there are two options :

1- Israel takes over all of it and claims it as Israel proper,

2 - Israel removes all of the Jewish settlements in the occupied territories.

Ohhh 'ethnic cleansing' , you are really hinting at genocide or something like that.  Or is it ethnic cleansing of Muslims, and genocide of Israelis ?

And as for time bomb countries, Syria, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya .... The more stable the Middle East is, the better it is for Israel. However with the intervention of nations in the M.E. is the cause of the instability because foreign powers are meddling internally with sovereign nations.

The settlements are counter productive and fly in the face of the Isreali rhetoric that these resolutions are anti-semetic in nature. Mr Danon the UN Ambassador for Israel really layed on the thick rhetoric regarding that.  Essentially saying if they cannot build in their 'homeland' it means that these resolutions support Palestinian terrorism against Israel. You really need to stretch the truth in order to get to that conclusion.

Here are his words :

Israel commits human rights abuses, but nowhere near as severe as that of ALL its neighbors. So it's a little rich for the population of those countries to criticize and bemoan Israeli human rights abuses. That particularly includes the Palestinian territories, whose local governments routinely commit extreme torture and extra-judicial executions.

Did you mean the extra-judicial executions OF Palestinians?
