bush_cheney2004 Posted October 19, 2016 Report Posted October 19, 2016 In my opinion, Kim Campbell is "small potatoes" for these and many other U.S. matters. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.

It wasn't Hillary's private server that was hacked. It was the emails of the DNC as well as her campaign manager. You're saying what I meant by "juicy," goes over your head? You're comparing the wikileaks, and the latest FBI files to that???? If you can't grasp the gravity of the wikileaks issues.....then, it's a waste of time trying to discuss with you. Edited October 21, 2016 by betsy Quote
cybercoma Posted October 21, 2016 Report Posted October 21, 2016 What do you care about the FBI files? You don't even accept the FBI's findings on Clinton. Quote
Guest Posted October 21, 2016 Report Posted October 21, 2016 The anti-truth movement cultivated by the right means that the only real news stories and facts are the ones that you agree with. Damning evidence casting your opponent in a negative light is real. That which does the same to your candidate is a media conspiracy. This practice is really just the same practices used by religious apologists being applied to politics. Quote

Yes, while there hasn't been anything compelling against Hillary from the emails, the gravity of the wikileaks story is the interference by an unallied foreign government in the election and the illegal hacking of U.S. citizens' private emails. Whether this was done in consort with the Trump campaign or whether Putin just wants Trump in because he thinks he's an idiot that he can manipulate should be investigated after the election. I'm trying to get to the bottom of your different standards as to what constitutes invasion of privacy. Evidently two men knowingly wearing microphones chatting and forgetting their microphones were live is a privacy invasion but hacking into people's accounts is not. Trump saying bad things about women should be ignored, but a Clinton staffer saying bad things about Obama or Catholics or someone saying bad things about Chelsea is okay. Other than sheer hypocrisy, could you have a go at explaining why you have different standards? Smallc Posted October 22, 2016 Report Posted October 22, 2016 I've never seen pretty much every part of the political spectrum line up against someone like this. When Cybercoma and Argus are in lockstep.... Quote
bush_cheney2004 Posted October 22, 2016 Report Posted October 22, 2016 (edited) President Bill Clinton largely ignored PM Kim Campbell...I guess she wasn't his type. Clinton didn't even bother to tell Canada he was bombing Iraq whenever he felt like it. Kim Campbell....ignored then...ignored now. https://www.washingtonpost.com/archive/politics/1993/07/31/canadian-leader-pops-away-at-us/a0290b79-bc67-46b2-8777-e64546634085/ Edited October 22, 2016 by bush_cheney2004 Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
