A cursory look shows much (most?) of that WND list reflects directly on Bill Clinton - even without considering validity of any of it (which has been beat on through his own candidacy/presidency)... how Christian of you to attach them, by association, to Hillary Clinton. Looking directly at events related to Hillary Clinton herself, those are all highly contentious and partisan points - one's she has been defended on by her own partisan side... one's she will need to, potentially, defend/debate herself. How Christian of you to simply throw out a list, with no regard to it's credibility/accuracy! You're too anal about the source.....suggests you haven't done a lot of reading in the past. I'm surprised some of the old scandals don't ring a bell with you (how old are you anyway? Maybe some of her scandals were done before your existence)..... or .....your memory is going? It's not the source, buddy. It's the message. These are news items, scandals involving elected PUBLIC official(s). This also involves GOVERNMENT! LEADERS! It is the way of our democratic system to exercise our rights. In this case, our right to express our opinion! So your criticism is not only quite off-key, but shows ignorance of Christianity. Besides.... We're not in Religion.....raising the Christian card in this topic, is pathetic. And, irrelevant. betsy Posted May 8, 2016 Author Report Posted May 8, 2016 (edited) Old Scandal Resurfacing for Hillary Clinton – The Worst News Possible for Her Presidential Campaign (VIDEO) “Whitewater” is a term that younger Americans probably don’t remember. And Hillary Clinton was counting on it staying that way. But for watchers of the Clinton White House, it was a property investment scandal dating back to the first days of Bill’s first term in office. And now, it’s back and setting former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s White House dreams on fire. The Clinton library is going to be releasing documents, which include the once sealed Whitewater files. They will be included in a new book by Robert Fiske, the former U.S. attorney who was the first independent counsel in charge of the Whitewater investigation, who is ready to blow the lid off of the Clinton’s shady financial dealings which led them on the path to their extraordinary wealth. Fiske rightly holds a grudge, because he was so tough on the Clintons that they found a way to wrongly accuse him of a coverup. He was subsequently replaced by Kenneth Starr, who is now the Dean of Pepperdine’s law school. betsy Posted May 8, 2016 Author Report Posted May 8, 2016 Cataloguing the Clinton liesTo those of us who have followed the ongoing Clinton Saga, which now reaches back almost 25 years, Hillary Rodham Clinton’s computer server promises to become as historic as Monica Lewinsky’s stained dress. That is to say, that her server may indeed become as significant to her presidential prospects as Monica’s dress was to Bill’s prospects for impeachment. It is now apparent to fact-finders across the nation that some of Hillary’s emails — thousands of which have been saved on her personal server — show that she lied to the American people as surely as Monica’s dress proved that Bill lied to the American people and to the grand jury when he denied having sex “with that woman, Miss Lewinsky.” What the server’s emails indicate is that on the night that four Americans were murdered in Benghazi, Hillary emailed the truth of how they died to her daughter. She told Chelsea that the Americans were the victims of an organized terrorist attack. She later admitted that to the Egyptian prime minister also. Nonetheless, she signed a public statement from the State Department proclaiming that the Americans were the victims of a riot provoked by a YouTube video. After lying to the American people the evening of the attack, she repeated the lie to the relatives of the victims, whose bodies were flown in to Joint Base Andrews. Moreover, she stood by her false account when she testified to the House Select Committee. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2015/dec/29/r-emmett-tyrrell-cataloguing-the-hillary-clinton-l/ Quote

It relates to Trump using Bill Clinton to fire back at Hillary. The question was about whether spouses should be included - not verbatim but something like that. Trump said that yes, if the spouse enters the field (Bill was onstage campaigning), they should be included. I must add too, that being the former President with his own scandal behind him (that caused him to be impeached)....of course, he should be included whether he entered the field of campaign or not. When the truth comes out, I'm sure we'll discover that she knew about all his affairs and did her best to cover them up - even going as far as quieting (in whatever ways possible) the women. betsy Posted May 8, 2016 Author Report Posted May 8, 2016 (edited) I do not understand why the Lewinsky affair constitutes a scandal. The only Presidents in the 20th century who did not have a mistress were probably Nixon and Reagan. There's more to it than just a simple affair. A Chronology: Key Moments In The Clinton-Lewinsky Saga 1995 June 1995: Monica Lewinsky, 21, comes to the White House as an unpaid intern in the office of Chief of Staff Leon Panetta. November 1995: Lewinsky and President Bill Clinton begin a sexual relationship, according to audiotapes secretly recorded later by Linda Tripp. December 1995: Lewinsky moves into a paid position in the Office of Legislative Affairs, handling letters from members of Congress. She frequently ferries mail to the Oval Office. 1996 April 1996: Then-Deputy White House Chief of Staff Evelyn Lieberman transfers Lewinsky to a job as an assistant to Pentagon spokesman Ken Bacon. Lieberman told The New York Times the move was due to "inappropriate and immature behavior" and inattention to work. At the Pentagon, Lewinsky meets Tripp, a career government worker. Summer 1996: Lewinsky begins to tell fellow Pentagon employee Linda Tripp of her alleged relationship with Clinton. 1997 August 1997: Tripp encountered Kathleen Willey coming out of Oval Office "disheveled. Her face red and her lipstick was off." Willey later alleged that Clinton groped her. Clinton's lawyer, Bill Bennett said in the article that Linda Tripp is not to be believed. Fall 1997: Tripp to begin taping conversations in which Lewinsky details her alleged affair with the president. October 1997: Tripp meets with Newsweek's Michael Isikoff, Lucianne & Jonah Goldberg at Jonah's apartment in Washington, according to a Newsweek report. The Goldberg's listen to a tape of Tripp/Lewinsky conversations. October 1997: Lewinsky interviews with U.S. Ambassador to the U.N. Bill Richardson for a low level public affairs position. December 1997: Lewinsky leaves the Pentagon. Dec. 8: Betty Currie, Clinton's personal secretary, asks presidential pal Vernon Jordan to help Lewinsky find a job in New York. Dec. 11: Lewinsky meets with Jordan and he refers her to several job leads. Dec. 17: Lewinsky is subpoenaed by lawyers for Paula Jones, who is suing the president on sexual harassment charges. Dec. 28: Lewinsky makes her final visit to the White House, according to White House logs, and was signed in by Currie. Lewinsky reportedly met privately with Clinton and he allegedly encouraged her to be "evasive" in her answers in the Jones' lawsuit. More..... http://www.cnn.com/ALLPOLITICS/1998/resources/lewinsky/timeline/ WASHINGTON, Dec. 19— William Jefferson Clinton was impeached on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice today by a divided House of Representatives, which recommended virtually along party lines that the Senate remove the nation's 42d President from office. At 1:22 P.M., the House of Representatives approved, 228 to 206, the first article of impeachment, accusing Mr. Clinton of perjury for misleading a Federal grand jury last Aug. 17 about the nature of his relationship with a White House intern, Monica S. Lewinsky. [Roll call, page 36.] A second article of impeachment, charging Mr. Clinton with obstruction of justice, passed on a narrower vote of 221 to 212. It accused him of inducing others to lie in order to conceal his affair with Ms. Lewinsky. http://www.nytimes.com/1998/12/20/us/impeachment-overview-clinton-impeached-he-faces-senate-trial-2d-history-vows-job.html?pagewanted=all Edited May 8, 2016 by betsy Quote

(based on my admittedly spotty memory of the time) The affair itself, is not being used against Hillary. Hillary is not the champion of women as she claims to be - far from it. It's her hypocrisy. She's said to be Bill's "enabler," and she was nasty to the women assaulted by Bill. A Woman Who Was Sexually Assaulted by Bill Clinton Drops a BOMB on Hillary (WHOA!) Bill Clinton has always treated women in a disgusting manner, and when he was initially running for President, his wife Hillary ran a “war room” to crack down on so called “bimbo eruptions.” This was the name given to the countless stories of infidelity and sexual assaults committed by Bill Clinton over the years. One of the most famous of Bill’s victims was Kathleen Willey, and she is speaking out against Hillary in a big way! Willey reminds us why Hillary’s treatment of her and other victims is why Hillary could never be considered a pro-woman candidate. Statements to the contrary are laughable: Willey met Bill as a volunteer at the White House. She requested a paying job, but instead of Bill helping her he allegedly harassed her sexually. Later on that day, her husband Ed committed suicide. And she describes Hillary’s efforts to keep her silent as “mob like tactics.” Kathleen Willey is bravely speaking out about Hillary’s shameful actions. betsy Posted May 8, 2016 Author Report Posted May 8, 2016 (edited) Should Hillary become the Presidential nominee, she could be facing this: Woman who accused Bill Clinton of assault to campaign against Hillary presidential runOne of the women who has accused former U.S. President Bill Clinton of sexual assault says she has agreed to work for an anti-Clinton political group being formed by a former advisor to Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. Kathleen Willey, a former White House volunteer who says Bill Clinton groped her in an Oval Office hallway in 1993 when she came to him tearfully seeking a paid job, said she had agreed to become a paid national spokeswoman for a group being created by Roger Stone. Stone, a Republican strategist, said the group would become active should Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton's wife, win the Democratic nomination in the 2016 race for the White House. Clinton is currently the front runner. Willey said she will give interviews and speeches and appear in political advertisements to ensure the accusations remain part of the political discourse during the election campaign. "They're going to be confronted every day, on radio, on television, on billboards," Stone told Reuters, referring to the Clintons. He said he had reached a verbal agreement with Willey but cautioned that the group was still in the planning stages. Spokesmen for Hillary and Bill Clinton did not respond to questions about Willey. http://www.reuters.com/article/us-usa-election-clinton-women-idUSMTZSAPEC288843FQ Edited May 8, 2016 by betsy Quote
Queenmandy85 Posted May 9, 2016 Report Posted May 9, 2016 Betsy, you still have not explained why the Lewinsky case was a scandal. It is rare to find a person who does not have a bit on the side. Other than the prudes and hypocrites trying unsuccessfully to impeach the President, how did that affect his ability to carry out his duties. Eisenhower had a mistress, FDR died in the arms of his mistress, Lincoln had his army Lieutenant, and Kennedy had his girlfriends. Perhaps it would be more of a scandal if a President did not have a girlfriend or boy-toy in the cases of Lincoln and HC. Quote A Conservative stands for God, King and Country
