Yes...yet the churches are still empty.

I just find it funny that as an atheist you quote holy books knowing full well that religious people pick and choose what they follow. Muslims, Jews, Catholics, Protestants, you name it--they all interpret their holy books and follow whatever they want.

You're free to follow Dionysus if you so choose. I worry about cults and 'religions' that specifically tell the faithful to SLAY the non-believer.

Those countries listed toss 'em into camps and let US feed 'em.

Exactly its all USAID and Canada wheat. They thrive on it. No doubt they also take a significant cut.

Jordan by the way where the population is about 65% refugees since 1948 has increased its population 2000% in the last century.

It's also forbidden among Catholics, as is divorce.

Africa is where Catholicism is growing the most. It has pretty much doubled its population in the last 20 years. Religion is the scourge of the earth.

Ever notice how Catholics from one part of the world are vastly different from Catholics in other parts? It probably has less to do with the religion and more to do with culture and politics.

The Christians (not Catholics) that live in the parts of the world where other "religions" are doing the same thing (see: Lord's Resistance Army) or you can look at the number of Protestants who were killed by Catholics in Ireland.

We can see where Catholicism has been there has been a period of massive population expansion. That makes it very problematic.

So armies of 10s of thousands of Christians are slaughtering non-Christans far and wide across Africa in the LRA? This is your go-to group for Christian-based terror. There are more people in your local high school than in the LRA.

The IRA doesn't specifically target just Protestants. Many members are/were Protestants. Their target is the British.

The central point, as I see it, is that Canada has gone from accepting specific individuals who are being persecuted, to acting as a lifeboat for whole populations of people from wartorn countries. This costs a bloody fortune, and helps only a very few of the refugees. If people really cared about the plight of refugees they'd want to send the money over there to take care of them, where it would go much, much farther.

Keep on repeating that mantra Argus ... and it still won't be true.

I've already proven it was true through cites earlier in this topic. The only purpose in bringing them here is so that brainless progressives can feel noble and self-sacrificing.

There is little to no opportunity for jobs, becoming self-supporting, for the millions of people crowded into refugee camps.

Their chance to work and support their families is here and in other countries where they can settle permanently.

As an atheist myself I'll tell you the main difference between these religions that's actually visible from space if you're not blind or mentally incapacitated:

some religions, eg christianity and buddhism, have positive role models to follow. It's tough to get a majority to go "satanic" because it's against what they have been taught to aspire to all their lives.

one religion in particular has a role model who committed genocide, forced rape on thousands of women, took women and children as actual slaves, married a 6 year old. It's not tough to get them to go "satanic" because that is what they aspire to. Go ask a muslim if Mohammed was evil. Just man up and do it. They will either switch the topic to "Americans blah blah blah" or threaten to kill you. That's their only play. It's a well-established fact that Mohammed was truly evil but they don't teach you that in college.

If the Cultist Narrative Network/Cultist Broadcasting Corporation gave an infinite number of monkeys an infinite number of typewriters, leftists would believe everything they typed.

They need to return to their countries. That means NATO needs to stop destroying their countries and stabbing them in the back.

We don't need to be colonized and have our environment further destroyed by overpopulation.

Agreed.

That's ridiculous.
