socialist
Has anyone else seen this pro-CBC ad on TV? I've seen it a few times. It goes along with what I've been saying all along in that the CBC is heavily invested in defeating Harper. They have an agenda, and this is one very plain reason why we cannot trust the CBC during this election. https://www.straight.com/blogra/513221/friends-canadian-broadcasting-takes-aim-harper-conservatives-pro-cbc-campaign
BubberMiley
Have you seen them on TV? The CBC refuses to run them. That's because it's become a state broadcaster under Dear Leader.

Black Dog
FYI, the CBC isn't the only station Canadians view. But if the CBC was, as you claim "heavily invested in defeating Harper" why wouldn't they run the ads?
waldo
But if the CBC was, as you claim "heavily invested in defeating Harper" why wouldn't they run the ads? don't you know? It's classic false flag! The CBC is actually the "Friends of the CBC"; by refusing to air the commercials on CBC, it's a classic False Flag operation. The LibertarianKid gets it... and so should everyone else!
kraychik
Have you seen them on TV? The CBC refuses to run them. That's because it's become a state broadcaster under Dear Leader. Why does it matter whether or not the CBC airs the ads? I'm not familiar with the specifics, but it may be policy to not permit such ads during the election season on CBC, or that the "Friends of the CBC" political advocacy group can't afford the airtime. Pretending that the CBC isn't left-wing and isn't opposed to Harper and CPC tells us how seriously we should take your views of political bias in media. Hot damn... that claimed bias from the "Bashers of the CBC" sure must be, oh so powerful! C'mon bashers... when is your team going to clean it up - what are they waiting for? The ads aren't the product of CBC and CBC itself has refused to run them. This type of dishonest post should be deleted by the moderators. The non-profit organization, which advocates for a well-funded CBC free of political interference, is currently airing advertisements critical of the Harper government's treatment of the national broadcaster. Such a vapid and lacking OP... that the CBC has nothing to do with the ad, that it refuses to run the ad, doesn't matter in the least to the guy. It was just a farcical means for him to associate it with the CBC and state, as he did in the OP, "(the) CBC is heavily invested in defeating Harper.
