Topaz Posted May 16, 2015 Report Posted May 16, 2015 (edited) There's been a strange noise or noises around the world for the last ten years and no one seems to know exactly what it is. I listened to it and for now I'll go with HAARP. BTW, did the feds ever find out what that pounding sound was down in Windsor ON?? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/travel/travel_news/article-3084260/What-strange-sound-sky-Noise-heard-globe-nearly-DECADE-explanation.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490 Edited May 16, 2015 by Topaz Quote
Smallc Posted May 16, 2015 Report Posted May 16, 2015 It's a hoax linked to the second coming of the non existent Jesus Christ. Quote

cybercoma Posted May 17, 2015 Report Posted May 17, 2015 The hum in Windsor was coming from industrial activities on Zug Island. It sounds funny, but imagine having a hard time sleeping because of a low pitched hum appearing and disappearing at odd hours. It's maddening. Quote
overthere Posted May 18, 2015 Report Posted May 18, 2015 I get this persistent noise way deep in my head sometimes. I think it is saying Kill Them All. Quote Science too hard for you? Try religion!

GostHacked Posted May 18, 2015 Report Posted May 18, 2015 The hum in Windsor was coming from industrial activities on Zug Island. It sounds funny, but imagine having a hard time sleeping because of a low pitched hum appearing and disappearing at odd hours. It's maddening. There is something to be said about large industrial areas that emit a lot of noise, and specifically a lot of low frequency sounds. As an example, industrial AC units not built solid enough, or secured properly with anti-vibration pads. Without it, an AC unit can cause vibrations through the structure or slab it is sitting on, and amplify it to some extent. You can even try that experiment at home with a window type AC unit. Take all the padding around it away and check the sound level difference, check what else vibrates. It's something I am quite aware of with working in a large warehouse with my previous job. I grew up in Sudbury at at night, in most areas you can clearly hear the hum of the trucks and other mechanical equipment at the various mine sites around the city. Quote
