eyeball Posted June 19, 2015 Report Posted June 19, 2015 We'll certainly need more people to process all the fish we go back to producing and all the logs we stop exporting. Quote A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.
Shady Posted June 19, 2015 Report Posted June 19, 2015 Ya that's exactly what happened in Alberta! So now polls mean nothing? Thanks for sorelosersplaining it for us! WWWTT Sorry. I'll be interested in polls when Canadians are actually paying attention during the campaign. Polls now mean as much as baseball standings. Quote
WWWTT Posted June 19, 2015 Report Posted June 19, 2015 Its simple Comrade Argus, after the NDP have chased off all the greedy corporations, transforming Canada into a agrarian society, we'll need masses of unskilled labor to work the fields of the collective farms We'll call it Tom's Great Leap Backward......... On Guard for Thee Posted June 19, 2015 Report Posted June 19, 2015 Canada doesn't need immigrants, immigrants need Canada. If they want to live under Shariah Law then they should go to an Islamic country. We need to stop making accommodations for these Muslims. Bit by bit they're taking over until we have Shariah Law here in Canada. Our political correctness is going to be the death if us. We're too polite to stop them from taking over. We'll just roll over and become Muslims instead of being beheaded. Since we don't want to offend them in our own country. Right? Wrong, on so many counts. First of all many of the people who come here for the TFW program are not Muslim. Many of the Muslims who do emmigrate here are skilled and educated and tend to do well. And yes we do need immigration, for one obvious reason that we dont have many kids, ad so without it we will end up a bunch of old crocks, with nobody able to work to afford our healthcare. Quote
Shady Posted June 19, 2015 Report Posted June 19, 2015 We'll certainly need more people to process all the fish we go back to producing and all the logs we stop exporting. We stopped producing fish? When? Why would we stop exporting logs? We make good money on those and they support good jobs. Quote
Canada_First Posted June 19, 2015 Report Posted June 19, 2015 Well, we have a Conservative Senator that was screwing a 16 year old. Maybe he'll tell Canadians they stand with pedophiles and be appointed as a judge too. Or is that only for Conservatives who knock up their babysitters? 16 is the legal age of consent in Canada. It used to be 14 until Harper raised it. Quote

WWWTT Posted June 19, 2015 Report Posted June 19, 2015 Sorry. I'll be interested in polls when Canadians are actually paying attention during the campaign. Polls now mean as much as baseball standings. You better hope so! Here's a fun fact. Each poll we get closer to election, the NDP do better!!! Ever try to figure out when and how it's going to turn around? Are you there yet? Stay with me now. How about the debates? Hoping an attack add is going to help? Ohhh sorry man, looks like there's going to be a lot of attack adds hitting the conservatives so there's nothing there?!?!?! Think man think! Argus Posted June 19, 2015 Report Posted June 19, 2015 You mean those skilled workers that work flipping burgers for MacDs under Harper's TFW program... That's not an answer. If you care to search this site you will see I have been extremely critical of the TFW program. I'm not afraid to criticize a conservative program I think is dumb. That doesn't mean i want to have an even dumber NDP program. So why do you? Argus Posted June 19, 2015 Report Posted June 19, 2015 I'd rather see a Conservative supporter attack family values. Is there a 'family values" conservative policy or program you had in mind? Many of the Muslims who do emmigrate here are skilled and educated and tend to do well. The statistics, posted here numerous times, show immigrants from the mideast and western Asia have very, very low earnings compared to immigrants from many other parts of the world. eyeball Posted June 19, 2015 Report Posted June 19, 2015 We stopped producing fish? When? Why would we stop exporting logs? We make good money on those and they support good jobs. I didn't say we stopped producing fish but we certainly don't produce anywhere near as much as we did. As for logs, exporting them doesn't support anywhere near as many good jobs that turning them into lumber would. cybercoma Posted June 19, 2015 Report Posted June 19, 2015 16 is the legal age of consent in Canada. It used to be 14 until Harper raised it.Not under the sexual exploitation laws it isn't and this guy was a Senator and a church minister. Quote
Argus Posted June 19, 2015 Report Posted June 19, 2015 And how is it dumber. I await your vigilant appraisal. That isn't a serious question. Shifting the central basis of our immigration from recruiting skilled workers with the proper language skills to succeed in Canada to bringing in masses of unskilled third world relatives is going to help Canada how, exactly? And why are we increasing the numbers? What are we going to do with millions of illiterate Pakistanis, Bangladishis, Tamils, Indians and Somalians? Increasing the numbers to 1% of our population means 1.75 million of them in their first five year term. eyeball Posted June 19, 2015 Report Posted June 19, 2015 Ever heard the old adage about hewers of wood and drawers of water... Remember when everyone said Canadians had to give up being a resource based economy? That was just code for "find something else to do because we're (Conservatives and Liberals) are allocating the opportunity to harvest extract and process those resources into as few hands as possible". Quote A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.
Vancouver King Posted June 19, 2015 Report Posted June 19, 2015 Furthermore, four months ago the NDP was averaging in the low 20s, and the Liberals led the polling averages in the mid 30s.... as Newton said about opposite reactions.........inversely, the Tories have been within a 2-4% +/- average for nearly two years.......and of course, the Tories historically poll 3-5% below reality, and until very recently, the NDP's policies have been given a free ride........... Conservative 35-36% majority this fall...........some parties campaign to win opinion or popularity polls, others, elections... Four months ago? What is your point? Half a century ago - give or take 5 years - Diefenbaker led the polls - does this have implications for Harper's chances? That was just code for "find something else to do because we're (Conservatives and Liberals) are allocating the opportunity to harvest extract and process those resources into as few hands as possible". Don't worry. Our resources are in good hands. Harper sold them off to Chinese Communists. He even made sure there would be extrajudicial tribunals that played in their favour too. Harper's an excellent comrade. Quote
