Mulcair's not going to show up to a debate when the Prime Minister is hiding in the closet. He's not looking for Trudeau's job, is he?

Hiding in the closet? The Prime Minister has already confirmed that he'll take part in 5 debates, four of which are confirmed..........and though Mulcair isn't after Trudeau's job, he's after Trudeau supporters, and Bloc supporters in Quebec.........I wonder if the media debates will be held still, turning into a Trudeau-May love fest, and both being played the fools by Duceppe in the French debate?

Then Mulcair will be at the 5 debates that the Prime Minister is at. If it's good enough for Harper, then what gives you the right to complain about Mulcair? Makes you look awfully silly to complain about debate attendance when you're swinging from Harper's balls.

What 5 is Harper in? I know of the Aug 6th, how many in Alberta, Quebec??

They are hosted by McLeans, Globe & Mail, the Monk Debates, TVA, and one more French Language debate not yet finalized. Don't worry about national coverage. The major networks (The Consortium) have always bragged that they showed the debates as a "Public Service". Now, they don't even have to spend money to host and produce them - just send a film crew (or share the cost amongst them) and have pre and post debate coverage.............so Canadians should expect that these honourable networks will televise all of them from coast to coast - as they normally would. After all, why wouldn't they? Where else can they attract a million-plus viewers at such a low cost?

I'm not complaining about Mulcair's recent missteps, I think they're great, likewise a demonstration as to how poorly prepared the NDP is for this campaign......within less than a handful of days, the NDP has given the Tories the choice of debates and today, Mulcair's refusal to answer reporter's questions after his presser this morning, is a defining moment in this campaign. Such missteps are reactionary, giving their advisories the initiative, akin to a hockey team nursing a 1 goal lead in the second period.........

The Federal NDP team has now started to defeat themselves, and this will be further compounded by the coming storm of attacks from not only the Tories, but the Liberals, Bloc and Greens........Mulcair and the NDP will be forced onto the defensive, even more so once not only the parties, but the media, start pulling apart their party policies.......there is orange blood in the water.

Strategy without tactics is the slowest route to victory. Tactics without strategy is the noise before defeat

Harper already made major missteps this am as he tried to answer questions form reporters. One of the most glaring was talking about the importance of balanced budgets. The next one was trying to tell people the parties will be paying all the extra costs of his stupid long campaign he has now launched. It was pathetic.
