Go figure...it's also been a hot spot for systemic discrimination.

So, who's side are we on anyway, the discriminators or the discriminated?

I said now watch what you say they'll be calling you a radical,
a liberal, oh fanatical criminal

Eyeball these conflicts have no sides. Try start with that concept. Hard as it may be for your rigid conceptualization to conceive but these conflicts have no sides. There is no group to side with. Your need to define everything with a good guy and a bad guy and cheer the good guy makes it impossible for you to grasp what Yemen or the Middle East is about.

Its not about right or wrong, Its about for the most part men, who think they are right trying to impose themselves on other men they think that are wrong. Why? Because like you they can only see black and white.

Kind of undermines your stance when it comes to the Israel/Palestine issue.

Looks like another part of the Middle East is ready to explode;

http://www.aljazeera.com/news/middleeast/2014/09/yemen-sanaa-clashes-2014919143756353329.html

I wonder how/if this will effect the war against ISIL?

All part of the global plan.

We can see some real talent in self-government and constitutional development in action </sarcasm>.

GhostH if you had ever bothered to read what I stated and have stated about the conflict in the Gaza and the West Bank with Israel you would know its entirely consistent. If you don't bother to read what I write that is your prerogative of course-but if you ignore it and misstate it I will challenge you.

I really do not appreciate you misstating me in such an ignorant way.

From day one I have stated to people like you that there is no wrong or right in the Israel-Palestinian conflict and that two peoples found themselves without countries and stateless for a complex series of issues and this is why I believe in a second Palestinian state for Palestinians.

I have stated this can not come about as long as extremist terrorists in the name of Islam will not recognize the rights of Israelis to a Jewish state. I stated they fuel Israeli extremists who justify their intransigence and position that peace with Muslims is impossible.

I have stated for peace to come about their must be mutual recognition of a second Palestinian as well as a Jewish state and precisely that people like you agitate for only one side and take sides and see such a conflict as good guy v.s. bad guy. You and Eye and Dre and the rest of your clique of apologists make me want to puke for precisely that reason.

You sit in your comfortable warm homes on a computer professing you understand Muslims,Jews,Palestinians, Israelis and what the solution should be.

You know nothing. You are someone who has the nerve to come on this forum and accuse someone of faking their being a Jew and you want to tell me I undermine my position as to not seeing right and wrong in conflicts?

Right.

Generally I agree with you but there is something I don't get. We never heard a peep about "Palestinians" until 1964 or so. There was certainly never a move to make Gaza or the West Bank or for that matter both independent until after the Six Day War. Why, other than possible demographic concerns, do we need yet another Arab state, particularly where the history of the people as being separate is slender to nonexistent.

Yea, if I bothered to read what you write.

You are right, I don't understand. And since the conflict has been going on for a very long time, I doubt any of you really understand it either. The original argument may not even exist after many generations. Might have been warped by the history written by the winners and not by who is right.

My solution is to nuke the whole area. Kill both sides and have some f'n peace for once. Too drastic?

You know nothing. You are someone who has the nerve to come on this forum and accuse someone of faking their being a Jew and you want to tell me I undermine my position as to not seeing right and wrong in conflicts?

Right.

Well, you could always drop the anti-semite card again if it helps.

This is now officially a civil war between the governing Shiite rebels and Sunni government. Not much movement from the West since it appears that nobody knows who are the good guys and who are the bad guys.

Maybe Netanyahu of Israel can figure this one out. He has already declared that ISIS is the tree of terrorism with Hamas and Hezbollah just two of the branches. A interesting attempt to dump a very unpopular Israeli domestic problem on to the world stage. But Benjamin may be too busy planning the development of those 1,000 acres of Palestinian lands that he just annexed. At least Israel does not differentiate between the two factions, it looks at both the Sunnis and Shiites as bad guys.

Still have not heard the USA position on this civil war in Yemen.

I suspect that Harper will wait to see the USA position before he again adopts the "me too" policy.

No....the USA is waiting for Canada to lead the way with "soft power", "honest brokering", and "peacekeeping".

No, that is not true...please check the Canadian version of history and many modern Canadian authors. Direct or indirect personal attacks by name inference is a violation of forum rules. If you must refer to me by name, please use my member name.

Americans anxiously await Canadian leadership in Yemen.

Canadians and Americans will always be friendly notwithstanding attempts by subversives to change that relationship.

If you feel that using the name Ali is a direct or indirect personal attack then I suggest I must have hit a nerve.

I have no doubt that your ego will force you into posting the last word. Possibly something silly like you being the victim again and some crap about proving a point.

The relationship began with war and continued with a lasting resentment and disdain well documented by Canadian authors and is often on display here.

Thank you for proving my point, as it was your admitted intention to attack this 'Merkin all along.

But we digress....back to the paradise that is Yemen.

You many have a point. I did not know that.

But maybe the Arabs should have recognized Israel right after the 1967 War before settling started. Maybe then Jerusalem would have been their only loss. They made a very bad decision to keep this going.

You are making excuses for the continuous land theft and violation of international law. Why do you have such contempt for international law and ethics?

"What do you think of Western civilization?" Gandhi was asked. "I think it would be a good idea," he said.

Unlike the terrorist apologists on this forum when I believe Israelihas done something wrong I say so. In regards to the seizure of land referred to by Big Guy I believe it is illegal and an impediment to peace.

That said and as usual that issue has nothing to do with this thread and shows once again how Big Buy and the rest of his ilk continue to attack Israel and question Israel because they do not want to discuss the actual issues brought up on the thread they join because if they actually responded to the subject matter of the thread they would find it impossible not to concede negative criticism on the Muslim extremist world. This is a classic device used on this board to apologize and condone Muslim extremism. Its a deliberate attempt to focus away from it by using the piss on Israel technique. Its old. Its tiresome and it aint working now is it Big Guy. Neither did your personal attack on B-Chaney.

You are agaib completely off topic but the precedent for being allowed to go off topic to attack Israel has become so common place on this forum to detract and avoid discussing the actual topic that it iss considered the norm.

As for referring to Bush Chaney as Ali Big Guy how about you now ask the person who started this thread or Hudson Jones, or Jacee what their actual names or religions are. What you now want to accuse say JBG of being a Yazidi or Kurd or yegads a Buddist?

How about me. You want to call me Abe or Moishe? Be my guest. Now that you have accused another of being a Muslim inferring he is agitating because he criticizes specific Canadian foreign policy what about you?

Should I call you Osama or Muhammed? If you can't address the topic and need to piss on Israel to focus away from the subject go ahead, Attack people personally and I am the first to challenge you.

The comments Bush Chaney has made and I do not always agree with him and we have had our exchanges are consistent with his views. His need to question Canadian foreign policy and military policy probably belongs in another thread but is no more off topic then your pissing on Israel in this thread.

More to the point his views on US and world issues are as direct as anyone can be. Not that it would dawn on you either but it is entirely possible for a Muslim to be American, pro American and vote Republican, etc.

You show my point precisely-that you apologists patronize and stereotype Muslims far worse then those of us who have lived side by side them, watched them die and as a result detest Muslim fundamentalism and terrorism.

Your stereotype of Muslims as having to be anti American oopsy now spewed out with that attempt to insult. Would it ever dawn on you that inferring Busch Chaney is Muslim has thank you very much proved my point as to why I find the whole lof of you as hateful as the terrorists and Muslim extremists you think you can understand and justify by creating the US and Israel as the cause of all world problems?

Oh right. You never said that. I am putting words in your mouth. Right.

Oh right. You never said that. I am putting words in your mouth. Right.

I saw my handle so I owe you a response. I have given up reading your posts because I fully understand your position;

Israel good - Everybody else bad.

Rue is knowledgeable - Everybody who disagrees is stupid.

To criticize anything about Israel makes you an anti-Semite.

Big Guy, dre, marcus, Hudson etc are terrorist apologists.

If you are not Jewish then you have no right to criticize anything about Israel or Jews.

Israel is a beacon of democracy that should be emulated by other nations.

Israel has a right to any land that Israel feels it has a right to.

Most of the folks posting on this board have no idea of what is happening in the Middle East and should not comment.

I really do not need any more reminding - There, see I do get it!

I assume that any future responses that you make will be directed to other posters since I have gotten your message. I have no intention of wasting another few minutes of my life in reading another repeat of the same thing.

As to what I call you - I have no intention of calling you anything since I will not be calling you at all.

You may call me Big, or you may call me Guy - just do not call me late for dinner.

Good Grief! Shalom!!!! :P

P.S. See what can be explained in 300 fewer words than your post.
