I think much of Islam thinks music is evil, and painting or sculpting images of people is sinful. Quote It is an inverted moral calculus that tries to persuade the world to demonize one state that tries its civilized best to abide in a difficult time and place, and rides merrily by the examples and practices of dozens of states and leaderships that drop into brutality every day without a twinge of regret or a whisper of condemnation. - Rex Murphy

Islamic Art Buddhist Architecture Buddhist Art For Hinduism, Raghurajpur is an entire city devoted to Hindu art and architecture. Again...the claim is religion specifically rather than a given culture...and that Christianity seems to excel at it over other religions. See link. Not that other religions are devoid of it. But, hey...it's much more fun this way...lol. Certain members are quick to play the ol' straw-man card...for sure. Well conditioned by their multicultural upbringing. The_Squid Posted December 31, 2013 Report Posted December 31, 2013 I'm not aware of any either... I'm a white guy on the west coast of Canada. But I'm not arrogant or stupid enough to think that culture, architecture and art belongs to only one religion. Let google be your tool to expand your limited horizons... Quote

GostHacked Posted December 31, 2013 Report Posted December 31, 2013 Two days later, despite having been on the forum and posting, he still hasn't responded. But it really goes without saying that the only person who has been whining and complaining for the past week is Shady (and socialist) about atheists. Check the sidebar (go and view all) to see how less Shady really cares about atheists. Quote

You do not have to look around and say, 'I hope I am not offending anyone'. You can pretty much speak your mind now in a way that you could not 50 years ago." Quote
scribblet Posted January 1, 2014 Report Posted January 1, 2014 (edited) It's too bad that he and others actually believe that a war on religion is needed or justified, it is sad. If people need religion to help them get through a tough life more power to them. Different strokes for different folks, unless of course they want to kill you for not believing.
