Pedophiles tend to have preferences for male or female children, which often parallels their preference in adults. I think people who argue this tend to ignore the historical context and power imbalances that make whites- or men-only clubs or establishments a bit dodgy.

Just pc cant. If you're against white only clubs, you should extend that to all clubs based on race. Otherwise you look like a pretzel. Yeah gee, these groups that have traditionally been excluded and marginalized have some nerve excluding straight white men from their spaces. Maybe the straight white men need their own exclusive clubs to talk about these issues with each other; they are such an underrepresented group after all.

According to you they do, since it is by the power of law that discriminatory groups are allowed to exist and operate in the name of equality and it is "straight", "white" dudes who hold the majority of power, the greatest of which is the establishment and enforcement of law.

Legal segregation by gender and sex is routinely practiced throughout North America (yes...that includes Canada) by way of public and private rest room facilities. Gender neutral restrooms are still not the norm.

The Boy Scouts are probably just trying to avoid a Penn State or Carholic Church type incident. They're just putting the safety of the children ahead of political correctness.

The assertion is that if the Boy Scouts let in a gay man, they will get Sanduskied.

But the broader issue , IIRC Rue showed studies and shared info that psychiatrist opined that there are no gay pedos....and there are no hetero pedos either.

Ones either gay, hetero or a pedo.

A gay/hetero male looks for someone of the same sexual maturity. A pedo looks for sexual immaturity

The story related to me to explain it was thus...and its pretty out there.
