That's OK...Canada's largest trading partner was "racist" too. Does this mean all your PM's were racist?

Brian Mulroney clearly proved he was against racism by bringing forward sanctions against the racist South African government,Thatcher opposed him while praising the racist government of South Africa!

As far as I am concerned this was and always will be Mulroneys greatest achievment!Something that all Canadians can be proud of!

And yes many of Canadas PMs did do/support racist/sexest policy for many years aswell as many other leaders/countries around the world.The question is when did it end or when were the strong attempts made to end racism/sexism?

Actually the belief of communism in Canada is protected by our charter of rights and freedoms.So therefore if Thatcher tried to attack/fight communism in Canada she would be violating our charter.

The Soviets could have done far worse to America than destroying tall buildings in NYC. And by far worse, I mean also the insidious Soviet ideology of collectivism.

The only Bolsheviks today teach in Western universities. I doubt that many western intellectuals will adopt Islam as a worldview.

Hence, I reckon that Bolshevism was a far greater threat to Western Civilization than Islam is.

Thatcher had a choice and she made serious errors and for those poor decisions and lack of respect for human rights.She will always be and remembered as one of the worst leaders in western civilization.Period!

Thatcher had the ability to understand Western values, the talent to express her opinion well and the fortitude to confront modern leftist sophists.

You need to do more homework...from Canada's original complicity in South Africa's Boer wars to the sale of 105mm howitzer technology to South Africa (e.g. GC-45) used against "commies" in the late 70's and 80's, right about the time that the Charter of Rights and Freedoms was born.

Canadians should not be surprised to learn that South Africa modeled their system of apartheid after the Canadian Indian reserve system.

Man this movie sucked. I just saw it earlier today. You could substitute any random crazy old lady in (and of course substitute in her memories, not Thatcher's) and the movie would be by-in-large the same. It was not about Thatcher at all, rather some woman who happens to be Thatcher.
