Parliament should matter...to you. Americans...not so much.

You should understand how much more exciting your politics is than ours. This is a big reason why we follow.

Well, if you think this is more exciting, just wait for the general campaign. More fun than a bathtub full of otters.

Especially if Rom the Nom has to face a 3rd party challenge. I hold my breath hoping that Donald Trump could run !

Sure...lots more sparks to come, but methinks the incumbent has this one sewn up.

My impression that Romney and Gingrich had to be careful not to cause each other some degree of mutual harm. That's why they can't go for the jugular, as some here expressed their disappointment over. You try and kill me, I'll kill you too. And there's a lot of material, quite similar for each that would make this all too easy to accomplish.

If you take a good look, there's really not much difference between the two. Both are run-of-the-mill politicians who flog their talking points, more or less perpetuate the status quo and have plenty of skeletons in the closet they don't like to talk about.

Now ask yourself if you had to choose, what does that leave you with.

It leaves "you" with one guy who wants to read about himself in history books, and another guy who just wants to be president.

Not a lot there to work with, eh?

I don't really think Romney has many skeletons. Newt definitely does though, but they're already mostly known.

I think Romney won the debate, but in winning the debate he lost a lot of ground. He flipped and he Flopped all over the stage. From his there was no Republican on the ballot lie, to his Blind trust lie, to his never seeing an add he personally approved lie. It is going to be easy to nail him with being a serial Liar. He rewrites his history daily.

Are you saying he lied several times on stage as well as flopping all around? And how can that be a win?

Because no ones is calling him on them yet except the left. That is a win because republican voters not only don't listen to those sources but if they did they wouldn't trust them. Fact is though he was telling some tall tails on stage. I mean his voting Democrat in 1992 is well documented and he has told a different story every time he is asked about. Honestly one of the Republicans need to try and get those lies out there and make it stick. No one wants to vote for a liar. These aren't election promises he made and never kept because of the reality of situations they are just bold faced lies.

Well said! You're talking about Obama right? :)

Seriously you want to go through them?

First his "there wasn't a Republican on the ballot lie" he told.

"On December 15, 1993, The Boston Globe reported that Romney said "he couldn't recall" for whom he had voted. Six weeks later, the Globe reported that Romney "confirmed he voted for former US Sen. Paul Tsongas." Why? Because "favored his ideas over those of Bill Clinton." Then in October of 1994, The Washington Post reported that Romney "publicizes his brief stint as a Democrat to support ex-senator Paul Tsongas in the 1992 presidential primary."

Flash forward 13 years to February, 2007 and Romney offered a completely different rationale in an interview with ABC's George Stephanopoulos: "When there was no real contest in the Republican primary, I’d vote in the Democrat primary, vote for the person who I thought would be the weakest opponent for the Republican."

So Romney has gone from not being able to recall who he voted for, to saying he voted for Tsongas because he liked Tsongas, to saying his vote for Tsongas shows he is bipartisan, to saying he voted for Tsongas to oppose Bill Clinton, to saying he voted for Tsongas to weaken the Democrats, to saying he only voted for Tsongas because he didn't have a chance to vote for a Republican. Except, of course, he did."

Then we got his Blind trust Lie.

Not only that but "somehow" the Blind trust Romney knows nothing about invest a million in his sons company. This and the money he was question on isn't even in a blind trust accord to the Boston Globe.

On top of all this he says he hasn't seen an add which at the end of the add he says in Spanish Approved the ad.

Lie on top of lie on top of Lie. Even Gingrich is putting out sound bites that have himself, McCain, and Huckabee saying Romney isn't truthful.

How is that a lie? So you're saying, since early 1994, he's confirmed that he voted for Paul Tsongas over Bill Clinton in the Democrat primary? And, proposed a couple different rationales? Wow, I'm floored. You're right, I just can't support the guy anymore, that's over the top!

Then we got his Blind trust Lie.

Nope, no lie. He's had his investments in a blind trust, at least while he was governor. That's the only time that matters, so that there's no conflict of interest.

On top of all this he says he hasn't seen an add which at the end of the add he says in Spanish Approved the ad.

Nope, no lie either. You're referring to a radio ad. Yes, at the end it says he approves the message. It's bad on him if he doesn't get to see/hear every ad put out by his campaign. He should. But just because there's the "I approve this message" at the end of the add, doesn't mean he's seen or heard it. That "I approve this message" is video and audio usually recorded once, and used multiple times for various ads.

Look, we all know you don't like Romney, because you're a big fan of the current President. But being so petty is a little pathetic. Especially when you're favourite politician has broken a litany of promises and told more lies in one state of the union speech than Mitt Romney could hope to tell in a life time.

Btw, remember when Obama said he allow legislation to be placed online for 5 days before any vote took place? Lie. Remember when he said he wouldn't have any lobbyists in his administration? Lie. Remember when he said he'd cut the deficit in half by the end of his first term? Lie. Or how about when he was running for President, saying he'd accept matching federal funds, and then turned around and broke his promise as soon as he found out he could raise more money? And you're wasting our time with who or why Mitt Romney voted for Paul Tsongas 20 years ago? Come'on man.

Some that don't even agree with the known history "like there was no republican" even though there were three Republican on the ballot right? how is that not a lie?

Nope, no lie. He's had his investments in a blind trust, at least while he was governor. That's the only time that matters, so that there's no conflict of interest.

You mean that blind trust that no was talking about? That blind trust the magically invests a huge amount of money in his sons company with out Romney knowing? That Blind trust Romney says himself is a scam? That blind trust?

Nope, no lie either. You're referring to a radio ad. Yes, at the end it says he approves the message. It's bad on him if he doesn't get to see/hear every ad put out by his campaign. He should. Yes I am referring to an add that has Romney at the end in his own voice saying he approved it.

I don't know Romney to like him or not because everytime I turn around he has a new story to tell me about the samething.

Btw, remember when Obama said he allow legislation to be placed online for 5 days before any vote took place? Lie. Remember when he said he wouldn't have any lobbyists in his administration? Lie. I am not talking policy Shady Romney has enough broken promises in Massachusetts to fill a boat I am talking about factual historical events he thinks he can rewrite Shady.

BTW Obama refunded, funding he got from Lobbyist today I'll tell you right now you wont see that from the Republican whoever it is.
