bush_cheney2004 Posted March 20, 2012 Report Posted March 20, 2012 (edited) Ok, but does the constitution allow you to be a VP after serving two terms as president? Of course that would mean that if you became president again you should quit after you have spent 10 years on the job and give over to your own VP? No, as the 12th Amendment precludes such a situation as Vice President after being ineligible to be President. He/she could become president again in the line of succession below VP. 1 Vice President of the United States Joe Biden (D) 2 Speaker of the House John Boehner (R) 3 President pro tempore of the Senate Daniel Inouye (D) 4 Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton (D) 5 Secretary of the Treasury Timothy Geithner (I)[3] 6 Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta (D) 7 Attorney General Eric Holder (D) 8 Secretary of the Interior Ken Salazar (D) 9 Secretary of Agriculture Tom Vilsack (D) 10 Secretary of Commerce John Bryson (D) 11 Secretary of Labor Hilda Solis (D) 12 Secretary of Health and Human Services Kathleen Sebelius (D) 13 Secretary of Housing & Urban Dev Shaun Donovan (D) 14 Secretary of Transportation Ray LaHood (R) 15 Secretary of Energy Steven Chu (D) 16 Secretary of Education Arne Duncan (D) 17 Secretary of Veterans Affairs Eric Shinseki* 18 Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano (D) 19 MLW Member with Most Posts Bush_Cheney2004 Edited March 20, 2012 by bush_cheney2004 Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
Shady Posted March 20, 2012 Report Posted March 20, 2012 More of Obama's 3-year report card. Not good. CBS News) The National Debt has now increased more during President Obama's three years and two months in office than it did during 8 years of the George W. Bush presidency.CBS Quote
punked Posted March 20, 2012 Report Posted March 20, 2012 More of Obama's 3-year report card. Not good. It is ok because the GOP just proposed a budget THAT WOULD NEVER GET RID OF THE DEFICIT. Now we know where they stand on the deficit. Quote
cybercoma Posted March 21, 2012 Report Posted March 21, 2012 (edited) It doesn't matter which Republican or Democrat is in the office. They're going to support 3 things: 1) The oil barons 2) The bankers 3) The military-industrial complex Ron Paul is ignored because he challenges this cabal that was challenged by JFK. He was killed for it. Now, the biggest myth in American politics is that there's actually a choice. Any choice that's made will unquestioningly supports the above. The polarization of the debate in America is meant to keep people from questioning the actual issues. It focuses the debate around moot points that are ultimately meaningless. As the lives and wealth of the underclass are robbed from them by the pigs dressed as elephants and donkeys. Edited March 21, 2012 by cybercoma Quote
