Here is a video of the driver's "undesirable" behaviour. Quote
Michael Hardner Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 Sad news... Singing is important. Quote Click to learn why Climate Change is caused by HUMANS Michael Hardner
Shady Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 I can see why they asked him to stop. He's horrible. That's the last thing I'd wanna be stuck hearing if I had to take the bus to work or something. Quote
GostHacked Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 I could not stand riding the bus because everyone else is making noise, singing, laughing talking .. ect .. I just want a nice quiet ride to work. So now I have a car and drive myself. I hate drowning out noise with other noise. Quote
Moonlight Graham Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 He needs to be quiet. What if people want to read etc.? They'd tell a passenger to zip it. Quote "All generalizations are false, including this one." - Mark Twain Partisanship is a disease of the intellect.
Michael Hardner Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 It's not all that bad. I think OC Transpo should pay for singing lessons and ask him to sing more quietly. Quote Click to learn why Climate Change is caused by HUMANS Michael Hardner
WWWTT Posted November 11, 2011 Report Posted November 11, 2011 It's not all that bad. I think OC Transpo should pay for singing lessons and ask him to sing more quietly. He should start with giving Harper singing lessons! Maybe teach him "jeremia was a bullfrog" by three dog night. WWWTT Quote Maple Leaf Web is now worth $720.00! CPCFTW Posted November 13, 2011 Report Posted November 13, 2011 (edited) It's not all that bad. I think OC Transpo should pay for singing lessons and ask him to sing more quietly. You mean Ottawa taxpayers and OC transpo riders should pay for his singing lessons? How about he pay for his own damn singing lessons with the $20+/hr he's making? Note: I wouldn't really mind a bus driver singing (I think it would be an entertaining distraction), but I can see how others would be annoyed. Edited November 13, 2011 by CPCFTW Quote
WLDB Posted March 16, 2012 Report Posted March 16, 2012 I thought this was a dumb move, but not surprising. OC Transpo isnt exactly known for its good decisions. This guy is not a problem compared to a lot of their drivers. Quote "History doesn't repeat itself-at best it sometimes rhymes"-Mark Twain
Michael Hardner Posted March 17, 2012 Report Posted March 17, 2012 And he sings for FREE ! Quote Click to learn why Climate Change is caused by HUMANS Michael Hardner
TheNewTeddy Posted March 17, 2012 Report Posted March 17, 2012 I agree with the noise complaints. One man's awesome singing is another man's horrible screeching. It's one thing to hum a few bars now and then, but if he's belting out full albums, that's another story. There's a TTC driver (streetcar) who tells jokes from time to time, but at least he does it here and there. One example from when I was on the vehicle was "What side of a bird has the most feathers" answer: the outside - highlight to read Quote Feel free to contact me outside the forums.
