MiddleClassCentrist Posted July 15, 2011 Report Posted July 15, 2011 Ann Coulter is an ignorant hack. Everything I've heard her say is misinformed or purposefully ignoring information for a political purpose. Quote Ideology does not make good policy. Good policy comes from an analysis of options, comparison of options and selection of one option that works best in the current situation. This option is often a compromise between ideologies.
Oleg Bach Posted July 15, 2011 Report Posted July 15, 2011 Ann Coulter is an ignorant hack. Everything I've heard her say is misinformed or purposefully ignoring information for a political purpose. Ann Coulter is a bit of a rough spokesman for those that are afraid to express themselves. It's nice to know that if I don't like the idea of some stupid liberal calling me a phobia filled reject because I am not comfortable with the idea of ---well - you know what - I don't have to like everything as liberals insist. She's an entertainer...what do you expect her to profess? If she was a professor - then maybe we could call her a bad one and an ignorant one...If a person speaks through mainstream media and books - It is to amuse and grant a payment to the clever author. Dithers Posted July 25, 2011 Report Posted July 25, 2011 (edited) I agree....sometimes they just hear what they want to hear, ignoring the obvious. bloodyminded Posted July 27, 2011 Report Posted July 27, 2011 Just a guess, but I do not think that you would describe Michael Moore the same way. I think of him as very similar. He's an entertainer making money through middle-brow to low-brow political oversimplificaiton. Bot he and Ms. Coulter even ocassionally get a fact or two correct. Doesn't change the overall trajectory. Quote As scarce as truth is, the supply has always been in excess of the demand. --Josh Billings
Yukon Jack Posted July 28, 2011 Report Posted July 28, 2011 Ann Coulter is an ignorant hack. Everything I've heard her say is misinformed or purposefully ignoring information for a political purpose. Would you care to provide some proof that: 1. You, yourself, are NOT an ignorant hack and 2. The sources where you heard of her are valid, which convinced you of your opinion of her and 3. She purposefully ignores information for political purpose and 4. She is a multiple time best-selling author strictly for being an 'ignorant hack'. And if you are willing to be so kind, list all your TV appearances and your best-selling books. Thank you. Quote

Who is Naomi Klein? She's a leftwing political polemicist whose books outsell Coulter's--not an important consideration as to quality or acumen from my point of view, but evidently you consider it part of the evidence for exactly that. Oleg Bach Posted August 11, 2011 Report Posted August 11, 2011 Well, there was Paul Martin begging George Bush for access to oil services contracts in Iraq...after the invasion! Always kicking the ball north of the boarder eh? Back to Ann Coulter...who would you want to be trapped and drunk on a desert island with...Ann or the new interm leader of our opposition? Not that this has a lot to do with anything..but it seems that choosing leaders in this modernist world consists of a woman that goes out on a night on the town and goes home with who ever she can..without looking into the eyes of the person to see who they really are....as for Martin - they did find a duffle bag of Cocaine on one of his ships as it docked in Quebec. Not saying that it was his - but money is money - This is the most disjointed post I have ever done - Is it to late to get a diagnosis for adult attention deficit disorder? Quote

Seems to me that for the past 250 years, America's future has been informing England's. You know, since they basically rejected a future with England during their Revolution. Anne Coulter is wrong. Oleg Bach Posted August 12, 2011 Report Posted August 12, 2011 She does provide an interesting solution: shooting them. Also interesting is that she bemoans the French Revolution ! The French revolution was similar to the Cultural Revolution in China - run around willy nilly killing millions of stupid and worst of all - very smart people...and in the end a half century later a deficit in the gene pool - where China for instance can not even create good quality goods because they don't have anyone intelligent enough to run the quality control department...hence - junk...Violent revoltion always consists of some evil jerks stiring up the stupified mass, who are mobilized to kill all the smart people..so the evil jerk leaders can rule - Like that dummie Joe Stalin - he wanted so deperately to be smart and intelligent that his pea brain figured out how to do it - Kill anything that is intelligent and in the end the less stupid person becomes the genius.
