Mr.Canada Posted June 4, 2011 Report Posted June 4, 2011 This is a most excellent idea I would think. Toronto has far too many racoons. Mayor Ford should institute a pay per dead racoon body, send them to a slauhter house and have them butchered and frozen then distribute them to people with their welfare cheques and use the meat to also feed the many homeless in our shelters. Good deal for everyone. Who's with me? Quote "You are scum for insinuating that isn't the case you snake." -William Ashley Canadian Immigration Reform Blog
Black Dog Posted June 4, 2011 Report Posted June 4, 2011 Cull extreme right-wingers and feed them to the homeless. Like racooons, they are rabid pests. Unlike racoons, they cause real damage. Quote
Black Dog Posted June 4, 2011 Report Posted June 4, 2011 Imagine how many people Rob Ford's carcass could feed. Bit high in saturated fats, though. Quote
Mr.Canada Posted June 4, 2011 Author Report Posted June 4, 2011 The slaughter house could grind up the meat and mix it with ground beef for example ti make it more palatable. The people on welfare should be happy with what they get and every effort should be mad to make it as undesirable as possible to remain on these mergency benefits. We don't need professional protestors living on welfare for years and years. With the racoon-beef mix we could then slash the amount of money we need to give them since a good portion of their grocery needs would be taken care of. We need to move towards a solution like this. Remember the sandwich recipes for their school lunches eh? ;-):-]:-) Beggars cannot be choosers. The people on welfare decided to be deadbeats and not work. They decided to let the state dictate the way in which they will be supported. The state needs to save money and this could be a great way to start. Not to mention that we need to move to a debit card system instead of cash for the distribution of benefits. Taxpayer dollars need to be shown more respect and must be protected. I want to see rent money directly given to landlords and the remainder given to the welfare people in the form of a debit card that cannot be used to withdraw cash and only used to make purchases at certain pre approved places. Good deal for everyone. Who's with me? A brilliant proposal! Although I object to the use of the term "the homeless"-- I prefer to think of them as "urban campers". I don't see why these rugged adventurers should not be able to use their hunting and foraging skills to act as wise custodians of our urban wilderness. I look forward to the day when our cities will be filled with the merry sight of happy back-alley hunters gathering to share song and stories while roasting their fresh-caught raccoons or stray pets over a crackling fire of burning tires, litter, and yard-waste. I worry a little bit that pets might vanish... -k Quote (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ Friendly forum facilitator! ┬──┬◡ノ(° -°ノ)

The majority of "welfare people" are children. I've always felt they have a better chance of respecting themselves and others if they are respected and not stigmatised for poverty. Perhaps you just mean to centre out and stigmatise the 'lazy' men? Are you offering to employ them? Mr Canada, really truly, surely you jest! We waste a lot more taxpayer money on corporate welfare feeding their profits than we do feeding children. Saipan Posted June 6, 2011 Report Posted June 6, 2011 rats could be palatable AND clean up the environment. Although I don't want to try it. Rats are like beavers, rabbits etc. Now, rabbits are on top of the chart, nutritionally, of all meats. Btw, chicken is in the middle and pork on the very bottom as it is closest to human flesh. Reason lot of old books forbid eating pork. Plain health reason. (recall pig heart to human transplant in California) Lot of people can't eat Bugs Bunny, but no problem to eat Miss Piggy. Quote

Tim Hudacks greatest blunder was suggesting that provincial convicts work in chain gangs. This shows that the political is insulting the intelligence of the intelligent and taking the cheap shot - go for the hate vote. I was greatly disappointed that Hudack took this approach - with you my friend - I am not disappointed - It is to be expected. Quote

Would not eat a goose that washes down it's food with water from the Don River...and would not eat a racoon.....that eats take out food left overs. Now if the racoon ate nothing but bean sprouts washed down with the tears of angels - then I might consider it. Oleg Bach Posted June 8, 2011 Report Posted June 8, 2011 Beating a racoon with a shovel as this character did...and remember culturally where he if from - He probably thought that he was killing dragons or huge brown bears...after all the Asian types are so use to the lack or distruction of nature that some fish off the docks in down town Toronto...seeing that are murky urban water by comparrison is sparkling clean to them...that's my theory -the shovel fellow actually thought he was being a bold and noble hunter buy their standards. I didn't hear Mr. Hudak say the words "chain gangs" But I have heard the media say it over and over To make convicts get off their asses and move them away from their televisions games and such and to do some work around communities is a perfectly good solution. They have taken from society and now have to put something back. NO, they won't be breaking stone with sledgehammers Quote
