This isn't about the science

It would do you good to admit to bad science when it exists if you're to be believed in regards to good science.

is it about the science, or not? Please, make up your mind!

The fact that you can't get yourself to acknowledge this type of situation speaks volumes.

Look in the mirror bud. Do you also want to tell us that cigarette smoking isn't harmful? I'm sure you, the Koch brothers and a group of bloggers know more than the experts.

"We are as certain that humans are responsible for most recent climate change as we are that cigarettes kill." - AAAS, Largest scientific society in the world.

"The public has been misinformed by a colossal disinformation campaign. Scientists must speak out strongly and often because the subject is too important to leave to the disinformers." - Dr. James McCarthy, Harvard oceanography professor and former AAAS President

"Climatologists, like other scientists, tend to be a stolid group. We are not given to theatrical rantings about falling skies. Most of us are far more comfortable in our laboratories or gathering data in the field than we are giving interviews to journalists or speaking before Congressional committees. Why then are climatologists speaking out about the dangers of global warming? The answer is that virtually all of us are now convinced that global warming poses a clear and present danger to civilization." - LonnieThomson, National Medal of Science winning Paleoclimatologist.

We know that is a bold faced lie....that's what this very thread is about. Panic and lies have no place in science.

Panic and lies have no place in science.

No kidding, if there are any scientists that are filled to the brim with panicky alarmist lies and dire warnings about doom and gloom lest we entertain any talk about curbing CO2 emissions, it's the economists.

I wonder what keeps political scientists up at night. Where are the predictions of civil and social catastrophe should we fail to think and govern ourselves rationally out of this irrational state we're in?

A government without public oversight is like a nuclear plant without lead shielding.

It's not an irrational state...it is perfectly normal. Civil and social conflict has made the present state of affairs, and it will only continue, as it should.

However, peace and good order can be found in a graveyard.

Exactly. The consensus based survey was done using anti-scientific methodology. But it's easier to yell Koch brothers! Koch brothers! Than acknowledge the facts.
