Of COURSE atheists in the west are going focus on the religion and customs that are the everyday norm where they live. Most of them have absolutely no exposure to other religions and customs, a they are a non-factor in their lives. As an atheist I dont have a huge issue with religious holidays, but if I did Id probably focus on Christmas because of the environment Im immersed it. I dont even know when the Muslim equivalent of that holiday happens. Atheists in places where Islam is the predominant religion will have an entirely different focus. Like Fariboz Shamshiri for an example, an Iranian that authors a blog called "rotten gods" that has made him very unpopular with some muslims there. Quote I question things because I am human.
