LOL A true liberal , the poor boy is sick, send him to a mental institution, he is not sick ,he is pure evil and should be shot. I was waiting for some liberal smuck to come out in his defence.

You can be evil and sick in the head at the same time. I still think he ought to be hanged, though.

Who said the tories were against capital punishment anyway?

Putting it on the cover is going to far, but my understanding is that the courts release what pictures the media can use ,to show the public what is going on and it is not being done behind close doors.

Just because the media can show it doesn't mean they have to.

I agree, but I think it is supposed to be public duty to show that nothing funny is going on and it is a fair trial. But last nite I watched the interrogation of him and it was great to see that cocky bastard go down. Edited by PIK

Because the immoralist relativist believes that there is no abolute definition of right and wrong, and the only thing that matters is what suits your personal preference.

And "liberals" don't believe any such thing, though the charge is often laid during debates such as this.

If anything, you're referring to "libertarians"--most of whom seem to tend toward the conservative side of the spectrum.

Not necessarily a number, but an extent. In the things I just wrote, the permissiveness, the porn.

Porn is not a liberal phenomenon; I would suggest that conservatives partake in equal measure.

Further, it is a big business, not exactly the favoured realm of the political left (depeding on how far left one goes, i suppose). And in fact, the porn industry is apparently run largely by conservatives, at least according to a young woman hailed as "the world's biggest pornstar"; she makes an articulate case for the assertion, too.

Sex and horror were this mans gods. Considering he already plead guilty there is no need to delve into every detail and expose it fully and graphically to the public. It does not further the case. Arguments that it will keep him locked up longer are pure horseshit, not substantiated by other similar cases. Promoting these visually disturbing images can only give others like him a rise.

Yes, I understand your position; and while I'm on the fence, I certainly and genuinely sympathize with your view.

But this has nothing to do with "liberals."

As scarce as truth is, the supply has always been in excess of the demand.

The picture of the dear Colonel dressed in drabby drag on the front page of the Star today reminded my of an associate I knew from my sisters circle..I will call him Dan - Dan married a nice red headed lawyers daughter..he was an agressive atheist..and after snooping around his farm house one afternoon I descovered that he was also some strange cross dressing lunitic..who was also an amateur astronmer who would comment when looking through his telescope..."what a mess the universe is..I could have designed it better".

At one time Dan was dating my sister..my mother smelled a rat..she grabbed the John Lennon wanna be hippie by the hair and tossed him out the door..

This "Dan" was a bad person because he was a transsexual/cross-dresser? Ok...

What about the gang problem, do you think they would be so quick to do a drive by shooting ,if they knew it could cost them their lives?

Sure. They do it where cap punishment exists, so why not?

Does Texas ever have drive-by shootings? If so, I guess the argument that capital punishment would prevent these murders is patently false.

Just to be clear, when I said liberals, I didn't mean liberal as in political party. I myself have voted liberal quite a few times, and I would never vote for the likes of Stephen Harper. I'm talking more about philosophy.

Before I mention HENCHMENSHIP...A comment on Texas. A friend of mine was down there not long ago and he mentioned that there is no road rage..no one gives the other driver the finger or the nasty look..why you ask? It is because a lot of people are armed and if you decide to insult or challenge some one from the supposed safety of your metal gas powered cacoon..be ready to be penetrated by a fast and dense projectile. They all behave unlike us in Ontario - who will wave a finger from their fortress auto..people who give you the bird from a car are much like people on the internet who insult and disgrace you from a distance but would never dare offend you on the street in person.

Williams is the classic henchmen. He has been doing the perverse dirty work for the establishment for quite some time I believe..Of course they understood and knew in what direction this man was predisposed.

His "confession" was a great bit of acting and it had nothing to do with "good and skilled investagators" - He was by my instinctive observation told to take the fall...He is a scape goat for all that is wrong with our military...The effect of this human sacrafice of the now useless henchman is to get the public to believe that all is well and the bad seed has been disposed of.

Now my question for the learned scholars is...what other misdeeds and horrific tacit actions have been requested of Russell Williams? How many other bodies of men and woman lie in rot because they needed a "tough, no nonsense" henchmen to carry out the cruel agenda of the overly bored and power crazed privledged looking for a thrill...? Williams is and was a henchman....and there is more to this than meets the eye - He was a mad dog and as the rich say when their dog shits on the temple floor..."it is not my dog".

Don't tell me that every high ranking politican - or other quiet men of influence did NOT know what Williams was made of..sure henchmen need diversions on their days off...like murdering woman and collecting panties..every one needs a suitable hobby including henchmen.

BUT - none of this will come to light - It is similar to the Conrad Black fall - No one will ever know what really took place...sad part is - the people giving the order to commit evil on the stage of the theatre of warr..will never be brought into the light...just as it was at the Nuremburg trials...all the henchmen were sacraficed and the thinkers- planners and those that facilitated horror through financial support..walked away free...as per usual...

Williams will keep his mouth shut about all the other horrific things he did as an common employee deployed by the devil..He will be quiet because his primary concern is that his wife is not incrimentally and systemically harmed....so now he will sit..and be silent.

Yes, unlike Chretein, he's too much concerned with the national defence of this country and not enough with the comfort of our liberal bureaucrats.

That didn't answer the questions. Peter McKay wasn't "hanging out with military murder boy" any more than anyone else did. He's not police profiler.

Where's any evidence Peter McKay hired him or anyone else in the military????

WHEN did Russell Williams start his military career???

Who hired mass murderer Denis Lortie into military????

Who let him out of prison????

Today a liberal MP I forget her name but she said she worked with william and she would NEVER GUESS HE WAS WHAT HE WAS.

Nothing can help texas ,but lets talk ottawa where a certain part of town has been taken over by a certain gang and in the summer thing got a little testy, time to try and stop it now before that city or anyother canadian city becomes like texas.

"Would" and "if", eh.

Those shootings are mostly in LA, Washington DC, and Motown.

Long gun registration prevents virtually nothing, but Liberals and NDPs still insist on it.
