Oleg Bach Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 Frankly after observering what is quickly becoming a little boyish twit that is thrill by green helicopter rides - I am quickly realizing that AMERICA is a nation that is corporate in nature and is run by committee. Everyone looked so emotionally towards Obama as some great salvation to the nation - evidently as time passes the guy has no real tangible power what so ever. The way he deals with a corporation such as BP is utterly pitiful and illogical. He seems to be a common bum boy - a spokesman for some committee that lurks in the back room..Visually if you take a close look at the guy - there is really nothing there..and as for his audio presense - he really says nothing - just a string of bad poetry written for him by young upstarts who sit sipping ice caps and click on their lap tops. Biden the white guy might have more power - because the white mans club has and always will have more authority over America and the world..using this semi-black front man has lost it charm - and that charm has now turned into whatis a pitiful display of cheap second rate henchmanship. Duh! I have been telling you this for a long time. America is a "corporation". Everyone looked so emotionally towards Obama as some great salvation to the nation - evidently as time passes the guy has no real tangible power what so ever. ....not everyone. Biden the white guy might have more power - because the white mans club has and always will have more authority over America and the world..using this semi-black front man has lost it charm - and that charm has now turned into whatis a pitiful display of cheap second rate henchmanship. Racist nonsense....Obama could nuke Toronto if you want proof. Quote Economics trumps Virtue.
sharkman Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 Personally, I much prefer Bush's approach to his VP. While Biden is given little real responsibility and is mostly a figurehead, Bush delegated some things to Cheney. Mind you, Bush picked a VP who was actually quite competent, which is yet another strike against Obama. Quote
punked Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 Am I the only one who saw President Obama Tell BP they were going to create a Spill Fund, and them do it. There was no legal battle, there were no laws past, he told how it was going to be, he had no authority to do that, and they did it. That is leadership to bad people don't get it. Quote
sharkman Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 It would have been leadership if he did it 6 weeks ago. Quote
Shady Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 I'm no fan of Obama. But it seems like Oleg is off his medication again. Most of his post is incoherent paranoia neatly wrapped in tinfoil. Quote

punked Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 It would have been leadership if he did it 6 weeks ago. No one knew the damage 6 weeks ago. Seriously he just told a world giant that they had to set aside the total of all their profits last year, for those hurt by this and they did it. That is crazy, never happened before, that is leadership. Quote
Shady Posted June 17, 2010 Report Posted June 17, 2010 that is leadership. Leadership or dictatorship? Kinda like the way he screwed over the shareholders of GM and Chrysler during the government takeover of those car companies. Apparently the rule of law doesn't much matter to him. Quote

Shady Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 Gotcha BP should not pay. Republican. Never said that. Just do things properly. Quote
punked Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 Never said that. Just do things properly. Obama told them to set aside the money and because he is a leader they did. What is wrong with that? He is the president and he said do it. BP had a choice fight Obama with the Republicans in the court of Public Opinion or do what he said. They did what he said. So you think Obama had a great idea making them pay, or they should not pay? Quote
kimmy Posted June 18, 2010 Report Posted June 18, 2010 Biden is a clueless mook. Barack probably has to ask his advisors every week why some greasy-looking old white dude is hanging around his office. "That's the vice president, sir." "Y'all kidding me, right?" -k Quote (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻ Friendly forum facilitator! ┬──┬◡ノ(° -°ノ)

Racist nonsense....Obama could nuke Toronto if you want proof. TYPICAL AMERICA RETORICAL...I expect an apology from you for that one. By the way I live in Rochester - the whole Toronto thing is a lie...how big of a nuke we talking about - okay - I live in El Paso..that's the ticket...I doubt very much if Obama can nuke anything - without a teleprompter. The "spill fund" is more like a rich mans slush fund - don't you get it..When Obama takes money from BP - it just goes back to PB eventually - so money is just passed around _ If you have ever watched corporations litigate you will understand that if you have a just cause and you are a little guy - you get nothing no matter how well you present..if you are one of the big dogs - money is handed to the other big dogs then back again - that is not power - that is called racketeering. AS BC mentioned - America is a huge corporation - and the president is always just a front man to take the brunt and to speak..VPs and other are usually the guys in charge _ I would say that Biden has more clout than Obama - just as Cheney had more power than Bush..just watch future events - Obama will continue to decline and look weaker and weaker - he was a poor choice as a front man.
