punked Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 (edited) The Portland tribune tried for the year to break this story. They interviewed hotel employees, the "victim" who said she would not talk with out a million bucks, they even took an add out and tried to find anyone else who might have the same experience. In the end they concluded all this women wanted was a payday and was in fact lying. It is no national enquirer I know, it is a real paper they does not report on alien abductions but I think they covered the story quite well. http://www.portlandtribune.com/opinion/story.php?story_id=127793339594194000 Edited July 1, 2010 by punked Quote
Shakeyhands Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 Police have released the audio of Gore's accuser! AUDIO Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God! Oh my God!!!! Really Shady, do you REALLY care if this guys marriage breaks down? I certainly don't, it's his business, and his business alone. So Shady where is your thread on the Enquirer reporting on Sarah Palin's indiscretions if they are such a great journalist organization why didn't you post that one? Quote
Shady Posted July 1, 2010 Author Report Posted July 1, 2010 So Shady where is your thread on the Enquirer reporting on Sarah Palin's indiscretions if they are such a great journalist organization why didn't you post that one? I don't link to the Enguirer, unless its backed up by other media sources, like associated press. Quote
punked Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 I don't link to the Enguirer, unless its backed up by other media sources, like associated press. Accept when the AP says "The Enquirer is saying this...." which it is it isn't back up. You will see in MY link to an actual news paper that investigated this for a year they couldn't find a story. They tired and couldn't, the Enquirer just reported the story of a women real papers wouldn't then the papers reported what the Enquirer said. Sorry Shady your source is the enquirer. Quote
Shady Posted July 1, 2010 Author Report Posted July 1, 2010 Sorry Shady your source is the enquirer. Not really. More like the Police Department! Quote
punked Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 (edited) Not really. More like the Police Department! You mean the Police Department that decided not to press charges because the accuser failed to show up to three different interviews, and gave no evidence. That Police Department because I see mention of that in your post. Looks like your source is the Enquirer to me. Edited July 1, 2010 by punked Quote

That Police Department because I see mention of that in your post. Looks like your source is the Enquirer to me. Nope. The Police Department that re-opened the case because of new evidence. DNA evidence, hotel video, and audio. Let me guess. The Police Department involved are just undercover Enquirer reporters! You guys don't like it much when Dems are held to the standards you hold Republicans to! It's very entertaining. Quote

It's very entertaining. 4 year After the fact the police department re opens the case to clear Al Gores name. I know in Shady's America you are guilty till proven innocent. I expect to be the first one to post when they close this case again. Not Shady. BTW Shady the Police department reopened the case and gave no reason why, where did you get the info of "DNA evidence, hotel video, and audio" was the enquirer because it was not the AP. They report no reason has been given. Shady and his sources for news tabloids. Where is that Palin Story Shady. Quote
BubberMiley Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 Me and my ilk would feel profoundly pathetic losers if we started a thread on Sarah Palin and her husband's marital troubles. Shady Posted July 1, 2010 Author Report Posted July 1, 2010 Me and my ilk would feel profoundly pathetic losers if we started a thread on Sarah Palin and her husband's marital troubles. Hold me to that standard, please. What if there was a Police investigation into those troubles? Quote
punked Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 What if there was a Police investigation into those troubles? Aren't there continuous police investigations going on right now on Mrs. Palin, and wasn't her defense fund for those investigation found in violation of the law? Guilty until proven innocent only if you a Democrat in Shady's world. The police should investigate every claim even if they are from people who have no evidence and refused over a 4 year period to talk to them, and will only talk to papers if they given them a million dollars. However only a crazy person would jump on those claims as fact unless the police actually find something. Well I guess a person who gets their news from the enquirer is a little bit off their rocker though. Quote
Shady Posted July 1, 2010 Author Report Posted July 1, 2010 Where is that Palin Story Shady. Not sure. But you certainly have had your share of Palin comments. Does somebody have something on Palin? I want to know why she is resigning. She didn't say anything about it. Maybe there is an indictment coming or she maybe she was hiking. Are you referring to when Sarah was pregnant for 8 months and hid it from the public? Those are certainly top-notch punked moments in journalism! Quote
Guest American Woman Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 Nope. The Police Department that re-opened the case because of new evidence. DNA evidence, hotel video, and audio. Where are you getting that from? Portland police did not say why it was reopening the investigation in its brief statement Wednesday. link Quote
sharkman Posted July 1, 2010 Report Posted July 1, 2010 I wonder if this is why the marriage ended? Quote

bloodyminded Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 Where are you getting that from? Portland police did not say why it was reopening the investigation in its brief statement Wednesday. link Perhaps Shady has mistaken the woman's claims for the police investigation. Somehow. punked Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 So the police actually talked about why they opened he case again. Got that Shady the police not facts you just make up out of thin air. They say they are opening it because when they closed it the first time did not have the authority to do so. There is still however no evidence, the witness still just wants money and the police wont find anything. http://tpmmuckraker.talkingpointsmemo.com/2010/07/portland_police_chief_procedural_issues_with_origi.php#more Quote
sharkman Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 So do you think Al cheated on his wife? Second, is this accuser making the whole thing up? She seems to have pretty descriptive incidents for someone to be making it up. Quote
bloodyminded Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 No one knows except for her and Gore. Maybe eventually we'll have a better understanding of what did or didn't happen. Quote As scarce as truth is, the supply has always been in excess of the demand. --Josh Billings
Guest American Woman Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 (edited) She seems to have pretty descriptive incidents for someone to be making it up. I read about "pretty descriptive incidents" in fiction all the time. People are perfectly capable of making such incidents up, or applying something that may have happened in their lives to someone else. Edited July 2, 2010 by American Woman Quote

dre Posted July 2, 2010 Report Posted July 2, 2010 Something seems fishy here to me. I have no problem at all believing that ANY politician could be guilty of charges like this, and no real opinion on whether Mr Gore is being falsely accused or not. What I find odd though is that the police would release transcripts of interviews with the accusor to the press. Seems like the normal thing would be to use them in COURT... I think at this point a reasonable mind has to assume that this is a deliberate smear campaign by the police... whether or not the charges have merit. Quote I question things because I am human.
