Because, of course, infidelity must mean that anthropogenic climate change is wrong.

It was only a matter of time before the celeb mags started prognosticating about what really caused Al and Tipper Gore's marriage ended after 40 years.

Now, Star magazine is reporting- with no official comment or confirmation - that the former vice president has been having an affair with Larry David's ex-wife, Laurie David. Larry and Laurie split in 2007. link

But being the "truth detector" that you are, I'm sure you'll jump equally on every conservative who's been accused by anyone of having had an affair, and condemn them all. I look forward to a multitude of threads. B)

I'm shocked that you think Rush Limbaugh is a scumbag creep who can't be trusted, considering you still diligently parrot his every word. Was it the infidelity or the drug addiction that forced this conclusion?

Tipper is a good person and I hope she can make the most of what's left of her life.

But... but ... The National Enquirer is putting the blame for their failed marriage on Tipper:

"Tipper's jealousy was putting stress on their marriage," the National Enquirer quotes an unnamed insider as saying.

"Al finally told her their relationship was over because he couldn't stand her jealous rages anymore."

Well I suppose more facts may come out, but if your husband was having an affair and you found out about it, wouldn't you get jealous and angry? And would that jealously be the cause of the stress or your husband's continued trysts after you found out?

Or would it be wrong to get jealous? Should she accept that she was now lover #2 and be glad she married someone who's 'love' was so vast that he could encompass 2 woman?

Was that before or after he had an affair? I think blaming the wife is pretty low. Marriages all have problems. The answer isn't to have an affair. You either try to work on those problems, or get a divorce if it can't be fixed. It looks like Algore decided to cheat first, and then end the marriage. Stay classy Al!

Even though I don't put any stock in either the Star's or the Inquirer's claims, I feel compelled to point out that "suspicious and jealous" doesn't equal "guilty of having an affair."

Just Like Newt the Republican leader. Where is your thread about Newt Shady. I looked through the archives and I can't find it?

No I think their personal life is none of my business. I don't care what their kids do or what happens with their relationships, I want to know about them and their beliefs.

I could care less that Newt cheated on his wife when she was in the hospitable and dying of Cancer then got her to sign the devoice papers on a trip to the hospitable with his girls with his new girlfriend in the car. Doesn't mean anything to me but Shady cares.

What they do is more of an indicator of their beliefs than what a politician says.

Who cares - there are many on here who would love to and indeed do tell us how to live.

There are usually three sides to these stories - his story, her story and the truth which will lie in the middle somewhere.

Nothing too exciting here folks - time to move along

It does NOT indicate what type of job they will do though.

Exactly. I'll use as an example:

A person's child/loved one is critically ill. A brilliant physician, who has had an extramarital affair, is the only one to have had success treating this illness. Does one not "trust" him/her to do their job because of it?

I know for a fact I'd be seeking out his/her services regardless of what went on in his/her personal life.

Doesn't make what they did any less wrong, but it doesn't enter into their professional life, either.

History does not agree with you. Some of the greatest leaders in the world had weaknesses and I understand they are human.

Look, I'm just saying it's wrong to have an affair. Do you think it's wrong to have an affair and can you simply say so without exceptions?

I will add that we are talking about a specific case, not some theory about a scientist.

If a politician will cheat on his spouse, then he will cheat on the voters, and when billions are at stake it's worth considering.

It's also wrong to claim people had an affair without any confirmation. <_<

No I can't because the world isn't black and white. I say things like "war is wrong in all cases" but that isn't true and you wouldn't agree with it. All is far in love and war sharkman sorry you don't understand sometimes people fall out of love.
